2017 scout
I bought the bike in January and awaiting my membership packet and IMRG membership. Im in MA so the weather has been poor but did manage to get in a couple of rides. The bike rides well and true with plenty of power. I waxed the bike before riding, but simply driving on city streets I picked up a couple of paint chips on the fender so Im leery of the soft paint issues Ive read about on line. Also the horn is poor, quickly replaced with a stebel. Slip ons are next as the stock is kind of moped-like. not many OEM accessories such as a narrow tank bib. Floor boards have been on backorder. My dealer MOMs Revere MA has been great.

Awesome First Bike! I am the QUEEN of the road!
I've been a proud Indian owner now for 4 months and I absolutely love my new Scout Sixty. I've had ZERO problems with it and I can keep up with my Dad on his HD Road King going 80mph. Just broke the 1200 mile mark on my bike and am super pumped for my big road trip to Ohio from FL. The only negative thing I have to say is I wish the leather saddle bags could fit more stuff. They are super stylish and I love them, but it stinks that it's hard to squeeze things in there on extended rides.

Love my 60!
I bought the Scout 60 as my first motorcycle ever and I couldn't have made a better choice. This is a wonderful motorcycle to get established on the road with and has enough power to keep you entertained while doing so. I can't tell you how many compliments I get on it too. Indian Rider for life now!

Most Fun You Can Have Fully Clothed - Period.
I couldn't afford the 1133, but when I went to the site to say "bye", there was the 60.As a novice with over 6,000 mi, I CANNOT say enough good things about this bike. The lean may have already saved me from injury. Someone left a working Bic lighter in Indian Red on my seat in a parking lot. Just a tiny cross-section of the awesomeness of this motorcycle. I haven't felt like a real badass (in my head) for years. Now it happens every time I rip the throttle to lose some fool who can't drive and is endangering my safety. Thank you Polaris. American machinery of high quality makes...life better, so to speak.

It's definitely an experience
You ever just want something and don't know why? I have a lot of Harley friends and will never talk poop or fight over which is better. I've always wanted an Indian and I don't know why. I always figured that since they're collectibles, I'd never afford it. Then they rebooted them and I'm thinking, I'll never be able to afford that either....until I walked into the dealership and actually started talking numbers. I didn't intend to buy right now but I did. The dumbest thing I could do because I had a nice v-star that I was satisfied with, and it was paid off!...but you know how it is, you want something and you just have to have it. LOL I'm hardly ever impulsive but what the heart wants, the heart wants!

Amazing bike
Picked it up Nov. 1st. Finally putting miles on it. Great "refresher" bike for those of us that haven't ridden in over 13 yrs. Has pickup and power, and doesn't ever vibrate at a standstill or at higher speeds.MUCH better than Harley equivalent of both Sportsters.

Extremely happy former Sportster rider
I got my Scout 1 year ago & could not be happier with my purchase. I intentionally waited 1 year to post my review so that the newness would wear off some before posting. Newness may have wore off but not the excitement every time I ride it. I was a diehard Sportster fan til my husband convinced to try the Scout. As said, couldn't be happier

Quick and Nimble!
I just bought my Indian Scout Sixty this fall, and my only complaint is that winter's first snow came too soon for me to ride as much as I would like to before waiting for the spring thaw. After spending the last 7 years riding exclusively Harley's, I find the Scout to surpass anything I experienced before. The bike's pick-up, maneuverability, and size are perfect for me. At 5'-3", the 25" stand over was the perfect solution.

Brief report
I have only had my scout sixty for a few weeks...700 miles on it...Due to sudden health issues that just came up, I will have to give up riding or life...bummer..
I like this bike a lot..I don't see any major drawbacks...I bought corbin seat from another and have not even tried it out.. The lack of all six gears is a minor pain in the keister because I often ride between 50 an sixty mph and 4th gear seems a bit busy and 5th gear is a bit sluggish at that speed range...(For those who do not know, the sixty has the same tranny as the big scout but the 5th gear is removed and it has the same "top" gear as the big Scout.)

Nice Bike
The bike is nice. It is easy to handle. I am 5'3" and can hold the bike up easily.
I did have a leaky gasket but warranty is covering that, however it does seem like it takes an unusually long amount of time to get it to the shop (could be the shop or Polaris, I'm not sure).
Aside from the gasket, the bike handles well, but do to its weight, it does get a little shaky in the wind.
I really like the bike itself and would recommend it to others.

Fantastic Bike, not really for long touring
I drooled over this bike since introduction, took a demo days ride, and a year later finally traded in my Harley Fat Bob for it. It's lighter, lower, and more powerful, handles much better, and most days of the year is going to be a superior bike in nearly every way.
Where does it fall short? Touring. Getting this up past 65mph on the highway and the bike doesn't ride straight as an arrow, it's whipped around easier in the wind, and takes more attention to keep it straight. Not bad on a commute or day ride, but I wouldn't want to deal with it on a long tour. Tires or suspension swap might help alleviate it, but in the meantime it's not a deal breaker since I ride it every day possible, not just for touring.

Awesome to look at and amazing to ride!
I absolutely loved the look of the Scout last year when I first saw it at our local dealer. This spring I scheduled a test ride, and just had to have it. Bought one that day, and have been ecstatic about it every since. There is no other bike I see that I am envious of, and just can't get enough riding on it. Have absolutely nothing bad I can say about this bike after my first season it.

I enjoyed my test ride on the scout. It is a very nimble, powerful easy to ride bike. I like the fact there several comfort options to help make the perfect fit for the individual, ie: different bars, seat floorboards, etc. The lines on the bike are beautiful and the color choice is extensive.

Great handling
I'm 5'-6". I love the seat height that I can place my feet flat holding the bike up. Great power. Smooth ride. Great handling. Excellent brakes. Very comfortable seat. Reach to the bar was good: not too far; not too close.
My only reservation is the placement of the foot controls forward was not to my liking. I'm sure there's a conversion kit that can place the foot controls further back to what I'm more use to.

Demo Ride - 2019 ? Scout / Springfield
Scout ....Fun bike to ride, Seems responsive - but doesnt seem to shift smoothly.
Do not like the small diamter of the bar/grips
I am 5'3' and the pegs/shifter causes your knees to be in a constant cramped /bent position
Seat not very comfortable
Riding in a semi bent position over the tank, not comfortable - Would definately Need diff. bars
Springfield, Being 5'3' would need to lower an inch...for slow turns... Very resposive, comfortable seat, bars/grips felt good,Great ride

needs to go on a diet
was looking forward to riding this piece of art for weeks..after riding this, i have to say that the bike was average. It def needs to lose some weight or get more HP. Uninspiring would be my review of this bike. I was looking for a heart racing or at least giggling type of ride.. It was neither unfortunately..the gear box was notchy and actually hit neutral a few times which was a little un nerving. It reminds me of a girl I used to date...beautiful, but that was it..pretty short adventure with that one.

Real nice power to weight ratio.
You will love the power and handling of the Scout. The quality is evident in every detail however I found the seat on the model I rode to be lacking in comfort. I was told there were other seat options available so this might not be a deal breaker for the Scout. Overall I found the Scout an excellent around town and short trip bike.

Incredible Power!
The Scout is an amazing machine. Not overwhelming in size, easy to handle, rather lightweight but has a motor to be reckoned with. This motor has torque delivery similar to an electric motor, ie , it is RIGHT even at low rpm. Then just increases with RPM making this one rapid, good handling motorcycle.

My first Indian Demo
The Scout Demo model lacked the full windscreen that I favor, so I was re-introduced to the displeasure of riding with excessive wind interference. However, the handling and acceleration were excellent. I appreciated the low profile, since my legs are sort. However, I felt the overall profile was somewhat small, even for me.

Can't say enough about the Scout!
Got my 2018 Scout 69 on Sept. 15, 2018. It's April 8th, 2019 and I have over 7K on it! I got it with a 20" windshield, saddlebags, touring passenger seat, backrests and saddlebags. It has not let me down. It's rock solid, reliable, maneuverable, sporty, sharp-looking and classy; you'll stand out from the sea of black, "that other brand we shall not mention".
I ride two-up with my wife all the time and this bike handles it perfectly. Have ridden through hilly, twisty roads and it has all the power I need.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish it vibrated less at 70 MPH and above. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars!

Easy to turn, snappy acceleration.
Test rode the scout. Great turn in...It almost falls into the turn for you. Very little effort. Very easy to ride. Acceleration is great, it helps to be in the right gear...unlike the 111 engine that pulls in almost any gear. I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam. This scout had the extended reach seat, but if it were mine, I'd get the extended reach foot controls as well. Gearbox is much better than I expected. Brakes and suspension work together flawlessly. Altogether great. I have no complaints about the bike. I just wish I were normal size..... Or that getting the proper seat and controls for my size was included in the MSRP.

Great bike and easy to personalize
I purchased the bike on October 2020. I added few modifications to suit my needs. I found the handle bars, as they come a little too far forward and close together. I modified them to the extended reach handlebars option from Indian, this allows me to sit more upright with more relaxed sensitivity to the steering at low speeds and counter-steering in the bends of the road. I add the LED lights for improved visibility and highway bars for safety. It looks pretty sweet with the additions.

great bike but should have better suspension
Traded in a sport bike for my 2020 scout bobber twenty because of back problems and the Indians are great couple of performance mods E&O intake and freedom performance exhaust plus a power commander on mine rides very smooth. In my opinion for 14k an air ride suspension which is 1200$ upgrade should be standard on all cruisers but to each their own fantastic bike ergonomically feels great to ride. Also is a bobber style so there is basically no technology on it not even a gas gauge which is whatever but again for a high price there’s other bikes out there that are a lot more cost effective

Know you will want to immediately mod
I bought a little over a month ago. There are a few things you will want to do immediately after buying the bike. First, replace the seat. Indian sells a comfort seat that they really should have made the stock seat, because the stock seat is not good if you ride more then 30 minutes. Second, change the exhaust. The pipes make no more noise then a sewing machine and that is irritating. Luckily, you can do this easily with slip on exhaust options. Third. You want to change the shocks. If you don't like being jolted about for the tiniest bumps change the shocks. After those 3 things, I do love my Indian scout bobber, even after the terrible sales experience I had where I went.

Great styling
I’ve had my Scout Bobber for about a month and half and absolutely live the ride, the power to weight ratio is great. It is a very nice bike in its handling. The seat was stock and not great for longer rides. The ride is very stiff, not a lot of travel but that is something going forward I might be able to adjust with tire pressure and spring adjustment. Perhaps beefier brakes would be nice. All in all very pleased with the bike!

Best Ride out there
I’ve had this bike just over a month and I have about 1500 miles on it. I’ve mostly street bikes but moving into cruising I’ve enjoyed this bike the most between victory, Harley, Bolts, and Indian. I didn’t ever ride the octane so I don’t know how I would like that bike but other than that the scout is super sporty and looks great!

Lots of Power
I bought it two months ago and have been very happy with it. The matte black is awesome and and once I changed out the factory seat for a more comfortable one the ride was much better. It could use taller bars though as the low ones are great for rides under 45 minutes but any longer and the comfort level starts to deteriorate.

Rides very nice. Handles great. Think I will go stage one if it’s not too noisy. People approach me and state how nice my bike is. This is unsolicited and in my kit I’m somewhat intimidating. In one month I’ve had 12-16 people telling me how much they like it.

great bike but should have better suspension

All in all very pleased with the bike!

it's all I have wanted and expected in a sled
I am extremely happy with it. I am some what disappointed in the price of the clothing apparel. I would love to add new exhaust and bags but the price is to far out of my finances. It has as much power that could ever be needed. Also The guys and girls at Elkhart Indian are the best. They have taken such good care of all my needs and that was very important in helping me with my decision before buying my Dark Horse. I spoke with Chris before purchasing the bike and he gave me all the answers that were of great importance too me. I thought of buying a Harley but the Indian was by far the best choice for me. Looks, were first in my decision. It just has the best look and style that is by far better than any Harley!!

At long last...
I have wanting an Indian Chief since seeing an early '50s model a friend owned back in the seventies. The Gilroy version came and went, the Kings Mountain version was too expensive. Now the latest (and I think greatest!) version has come around. I came to a point in life that I can afford one and no-one can tell me I can't have one. I know they are marketing the Dark Horse at a younger demographic, but at 60, I still feel young enough.

Impressive
I got my Dark Horse last fall and will say that she never seems to disappoint me. After the 500 mile servicing I took her for a two day 1,000 mile ride to the Ozark's Mountains to see how well she took the curves. I find myself not only satisfied with the handling but so far she is a dream come true. The cornering on this bike is every thing a motorcycle should be. After riding Harley for decades I find this motorcycle is not only easier to handle but a lot more enjoyable to ride.

2016 Dark Horse
I bought an Indian Chief Dark Horse about 6 weeks ago and love the bike so far. I am a previous owner of a 2008 Harley Heritage Softail and a 2002 Harley Dyna Low Rider. Trying to compare these bikes is apples to oranges, particularly given the amount of time between purchases. I still love Harley's, but was looking for something different since it seems like no matter what model Harley you have, you will see tons of them everywhere you go. So far I've only had 1 issue, which apparently has happened to others, the bike stopped registering the key fob so it won't start without using the code. I have to take the bike to the dealer to get it corrected. Won't cost me anything but time and gas to get there, but still an inconvenience and hopefully not a recurring issue. The bike rides great, is comfortable, feels light on the road, has plenty of torque, sounds great (with the Freedom exhaust), and corners nicely. So far I've logged about 1500 miles with no complaints other than some overall fit and finish, which are really just a personal opinion. A couple examples is for a blacked out bike, I don't understand why they used so many chrome bolts and nuts vice black once. I know they are proud, but it has the Indian badge on just about everything...way too much. I know they wanted to shed some weight, but should've kept the oil cooler as the engine does run hot. All in all this thing is a beast, looks great, and I plan to keep it for a long time provided it holds up. I only say that because Indian is recently resurgent so only time will tell what the quality will be long-term.

I bought this bike 3 months ago after trading in my 2015 Harley Dyna. There is no comparison. The DH is far superior to anything Harley offered. I test rode to new Softail Slim to be fair. Not even close. This bike handles so well. Its balanced and smooth. Will never ride anything but an Indian again. Good Job Polaris!!!

Great Ride
My Dark Horse has been great except for one issue.
Prior to heading to get my 500 mile oil change, my fork lock key wouldn't turn all the way to lock. On my way to the dealer, the fork lock locked. Lucky for me I was at a low speed. I stopped and brute forced the handle bar to turn. Got it to true dealer. The sales rep, Brian, took a look at it and it locked up on him. He had the mechanic look at the lock and discovered an extra screw in the lock assembly. They removed it and assure me it wouldn't lock up again.
They guys have been great, but a promise doesn't put my mind at ease.

Polaris Industries does it again!
I purchased this bike a few weeks ago, i had a 2007 Victory Vegas before. I loved the Vegas, the Dark Horse just takes those feelings and adds more. This is my first bagger and I don't see myself ever changing from a Polaris motorcycle or from a bagger. Awesome styling, phenomenal engine in the Thunder Stroke 111, this is the first bike I've ever heard that I'd consider leaving the stock exhaust on. I hope to have this bike for a very long time.

Bought in April, coming up on 10k miles. Commute everyday 50+ miles, both freeway and surface streets plus monthly group rides, errands around town, rain or shine. The bike never disappoints in it's handling ,comfort and power. Stock model came just as I wanted for my next bike. Quality is outstanding. Its the bike I've always wanted to have. Great Bike
So early last Spring the editor of a popular motorcycle magazine wrote a little piece praising the Indian line and showing off the new Springfield. As I respect this fellow's opinion I went to the local Indian dealer and took one out for a test ride. I was hooked. The ride, the handling the over all look of the bike had me hooked from the start. I went through the year riding my extremely fast Softail then in October I pulled the trigger and bought the red Springfield. I had the dealer make the necessary modifications; new headers and mufflers, air cleaner and cams. Okay the Springfield isn't as fast as my Softail was but I'm good with that, it's so much better of a ride than any Harley I've ever owned or ridden. Now to see how fast I can get to 60,000 miles.

Great Ride
I've had my Springfield about 7 months or so. I've put nearly 6000 miles on it. I had it upgraded to Stage-2 with Rush pipes before taking delivery at Indian Motorcycle of Lafayette". This is my second Indian, as I also had a 2014 Chieftain.
The seat on the Springfield could be improved. I like the looks of the seat, but my butt bothers me after about 100 miles. I am forced to put my Corbin (I bought it for my Chieftain) seat on it for long rides.
The stock air-cleaner is ugly, and to big. That's one of the reasons I decided to spend a fortune to upgrade. The Stage-1 air-cleaner is smaller, and being smaller it lets more air get to my legs for a cooler summer ride.

Riding Like I was a kid again!!!
Once I test rode a Springfield (which is the first Indian I've ever ridden) I was sold. I'm 65 and have been riding since I was 14. The comfort, ease of handling, power and responsiveness did it. I was sold. Being only 5'5" being flat footed and balanced were a must as was the handling with a passenger on board. My wife rides her own but on rare occasions, she is my passenger.

A most beautiful bike
I've been riding motorcycles for over 40 years. I've always had to settle for a bike that was not quite what I wanted, but that I could afford. Well, this time I bought exactly what I wanted. The Indian Springfield hit every single check-box for me, from the removable windscreen to the relaxed cruiser styling.
I compared the bike to similar bikes from other brands, and while others had good qualities, the Indian was clearly better in each and every category. I've owned the bike now for six weeks or so, and even though we're at the end of Fall and closing in on Winter, I still take every opportunity to pull the bike out of the garage and ride it. I get compliments everywhere I go. She's a beautiful bike.

Best Bike, EVER!
Okay so out of curiosity last Spring I test rode a Springfield and loved it! Now I'm not made of money and I've been riding my 98 Softail for a long time and really like it. Come fall and I stopped in at the Indian dealer again and there on the floor sits a red 2016 Springfield all shiny and pretty. I could no longer resist. I went home that night and sold my Harley to my son and bought the Springfield. Indian, you have your stuff together with this bike. Handles and rides better than any Harley I've ever owned, ever.

I love my bike.
I have owned almost every model of Harley. Touring bikes, Softails, V-Rods, everything but a Sportster. I grew up on Harleys (even on the back of one as a kid) and it was a tough choice to break tradition. Ultimately I did make the switch due to a simple fact. It's a better bike. It's more powerful and smoother than a Milwaukee Eight bike, feels very well put together and is more fun to ride. It's also a much better looking bike than a Road King. I go to bike night and I might see one other Indian, but that's it.

Great Bike
I purchase a 2014 Indian Red. After 42,000 miles I think I can say it is a very reliable bike. I've logged thousands of highway miles, still have stock speakers, and can hear it clearly at highway speeds. The engine noise is no more than one should expect from an over head valve engine. The engine does put off heat but no more than any other air cooled v-twin I've ridden. I'd have to say the Chieftain is the most comfortable bike I've ridden. It handles great, corners like a sport bike, can make a tight slow turn and move through heavy traffic effortlessly. I've been riding for 40 years, with 11 as a MC officer on Indians biggest rival. I've owned numerous bikes. Great job, fantastic design.

Long range comfort
I've had my Chieftain 3 years and 15,000 miles. It's outstanding features are comfort and torque. The suspension is compliant and all day comfortable. The windshield is adjustable for all conditions. There is much less shifting due to the monster torque in the 111 cubic inch motor.. maintainance is kept to a minimum with the hydraulic valves and drive belt system. All in all I am pleased with my purchase.

Love this Ride
Purchased this bike in December, and wasn't able to ride it until yesterday, February 26. I had not test ridden this particular bike, as a lowered version was not available. After much worry that I had jumped the gun, I was elated that this bike was such a joy to ride. Several modifications had been done prior to my purchase, and then we added a few more to the list. I love the Chieftain, and the white smoke paint with the red seat is stunning.

Love My Chieftain
Owned for almost 2 months, 1200 miles. Love this bike more each time I ride it. Two reason I gave a 4 star vs. 5 star rating: 1) The seat is beautiful, but at 6'1" it sits me too far forward. I was constantly having to sit on the back of the seat, so ended up having to buy an aftermarket seat. Disappointing after spending this much money on a new bike that I had to take this beautiful seat off and have it just sitting in storage. 2) The right side cover for the fog light on the inside of the fairing blew off while riding and was lost. Dealership covered it under warranty, and said they had this happen on several others. The part is on undetermined back-order which indicates this is happening a lot.

Good ride
Bought 3 years ago and have ridden 48K. Runs great and handles long trips beautifully. Illicit's lots of comments and conversations. Would be better if it had a Nav system that could accept routes and chained waypoints. New 2017 screen looks nice but was not thought out. Even cheap add ons will do that. Sirius would be nice! I was planning on upgrading in 2017 but there is nothing new worth the cost. Depreciation and lack of new features???? Paint options are another area that needs work. Color options are lacking and unattractive. Not enough choices.

Awesome motorcycle!
I am glad that I chose to buy the Indian Cheiftain motorcycle fully loaded and decorated with all of the crome options that I could put on it, including the removable trunk option. Outstanding motorcycle, has a lot of power and more in reserve, it will easily pull a hole shot and ride a wheely of the lights, and rixe away from from most anything on the road, only an HD screaming has any chance of keeping up with it, until you turn the throttle a little more and unleash the other 15% horsepower in reserve, with the performance package installed from the factory. Absolutely beautiful ane stunning looking bike, it catches everyones eye. Love the blend of modern and retro looks, rides and handles very well, very well designed, love the quick attach and detach features of the saddle bag and trunk options. Indian has done a great job of nailing it in the design if the new line if bikes. Always loved the HD's, but glad I bought the Indian!

I put an average of 13000 miles on my bikes annually so a bagger is the stile that I wanted. I only have two request, a larger gas tank and wider side bags.

Nice bike, but...
I got the bike in November and since then I've had some problems. Well when I got the oil serviced I noticed there was a leak and it's caused my pipes to rust up. Also the back cover to one of my fog lights just flew off while riding. The engine gets hot, crazy hot. Would I buy again? Never

Amazing for twisties and road trips
I've bought my Chieftain in May of 16. Handles like a small bike and rides like a dream. Rode the other American brand for 20 plus years and have zero doubts that Indian is the best American bagger on the market. Stage II kit, 19" custom front wheel and mid rise apes and more. XXXtremely satisfied.

I had purchased a demo Chieftain back on 12/17/15.. I've had two recalls so far and ever since a Flash was done on my bike it runs too hot with less power. It's not enjoyable to ride in the summer in TX.. I love my bike but its' too hot to ride since the Flash was done...help.

Nice bike, too expensive, not very good demo guy
First, the demo van wasn't what I was told it would be. I wanted to test ride a Springfield and the dealer wouldn't prep one. Told me to wait for the demo van, which would have every model to ride. When I went they didn't have any Springfields to ride. The guy was kind of rude and said if you want to ride a Chieftain, it's the same thing. I don't know, the big fairing and all the gadgets wasn't the experience I wanted. Also, the bike was fully optioned out at $34,400. Overall, very comfortable ride with a ton of power with the 116. Great maneuverability, but the throttle seemed sloppy. About 1/8th turn of play before it would accelerate. He didn't explain tour mode vs standard vs sport before the ride. I was in tour mode, but would have preferred standard or sport if I had known.

Incredibly well balanced
I rode the 116 and it was an incredibly well balanced ride. VERY smooth and comfortable! My only criticism was the head buffeting at faster speeds. There didnt seem to be a good place to put it to stop although all the way up helped

The new look is great on the 2019. Fairing
I test road the 2019 Chieftain Dark Horse 116 was a nice ride. Very quick response from the throttle and nice and smooth ride. Great features such as automatic lock for saddle bags, radio, and screen was easy to see and operate. The look is the best part really like the new look of the fairing.

Rides great. Handles great. Easy to maneuver.
Right from the start the bike was easy to upright and felt surprisingly light for a bike of this size. I’m 5’-8” tall and had trouble reaching the kickstand. I think there should be an extension on the kickstand or one available for purchase. The other issue I had was the floor boards were a little too far forward for someone of my size as well. The directional switch was hard to get used to after riding HD for so long. I’m sure I’d get used to it but it’s handier to have a switch on each side. I think that would save a lot of confusion for long time HD riders. I ride a 2015 HD FLHTKL Ultra Limited Low. The reason I ride what I ride is simple. I wanted a tour bike and was able to put a leg over FLHTKL and upright it with ease. When I took the bike for a ride everything fit. From the extended kickstand to the controls to the seat height and width. The Dark Horse did most of that. But it lacked in the kickstand and controls. Beyond that, the Dark horse rides and handles exceptionally well for a bike it’s size. The infotainment system obviously wasn’t familiar but the little I used it on the ride made me feel like it’s way better than the HD infotainment on my bike. Which has been, and continues to be a problem. HD doesn’t seem to want to help much with this at all. I apologized for the mention of the bike I’m riding now but I think I needed to for the review. Indian...... your definitely on the right path. Great bike, it needs some tweaking for smaller riders. The crew you had at the Americade in Lake George NY was second to none! Courteous, kind and most of all caring.

great power very comfortable
I took a test ride yesterday and I was very impressed with the power styling handling etc it had a nice seat great sound, engine pipes.. I did not turn on the stereo, Ide rather hear the bike.. and fantastic pick up, smooth breaks, the only thing I could find that may have needed improvement was the wind buffeting around the head, I couldn't seem to find the right position.

Great Updated Ride
Took a demo ride yesterday at Indian KC. I currently own a 17 Roadmaster. Wanted to ride a 116 to see what’s up. Was put on a 19 Chieftain Darkhorse. First impressions: 1) Took me a few minutes to acquaint myself with the updated controls. Think most of the changes are good. 2) If money was not an issue, I’d have my on the lift at the dealer right now to do the big bore kit. The 116 is ON POINT. And finally, 3) Not a huge fan of the new look faring but am sure it will grow on me.

Have been wanting to ride the 116. Rode it and loved it. Nice response all around. Enjoyed sitting low in the seat as it made me feel part of it, not just on it. My only dislike is that I felt I was sitting to close to the handle bars. Didn't like that at all. Perhaps there is a option for the seat to sit further back.

Love the Look - Miss the Classic Fairing
This is my 4th Roadmaster. I love the aggressive modern look of this model, but after riding it daily for a few months I am missing the wind protection that I was accustomed to with the classic fairing.
To be specific it's not wind over the fairing but under, coming by the tank and hitting me underneath my helmet. No combination of lower vent positions change this. I now am wearing goggles and thinking about a full face helmet.
I love these bikes, but am having some buyers remorse to the point that I am thinking about trading out of it after just a few months.
A few other let downs were: I had to buy the passenger pegs, and luggage rack as these were not included in stock like the other Roadmaster. Also the new style bags don't seem as solid as the previous ones.
Everything else aside I like the aggressive look, and the 116 power is very nice!

This is one magnificent bike. Everything about this bike from the pipes to the infotainment system is really dialed in. I have one gripe. This thing should come with the rider’s back rest. It completely transforms the bike. I can see 20k miles/year going on this bike easy with the addition of the backrest.

Best of the Best
This is my second Indian Roadmaster. My first was a 2016 that I put over 38,000 miles on. I traded it in on a 2019 Roadmaster in February this year, and even though I didn't think Indian could build a better bike, they did. From the touch screen, improved stereo system and optimized handlebar controls, to the single cylinder shut off and improved air flow, making it a much cooler ride, Indian has hit another home run with this luxury cruiser. I have yet to find another motorcycle that came close to the quality and performance of this bike.
I am a lifelong Indian rider!

2019RM Review
This is my 2019 Icon. I had put 33,xxx miles on my 2016 RM and knew that my next buy would be another Indian RM. The Ride Command is a very nice addition and the rest of the electronic enhancements are a vast improvement on an already great motorcycle. The cubic inch displacement is the same, but the power increase that is available from just a bone stock bike is remarkable. 4,000 and some odd miles into this new bike, I am so very happy with my purchase. Well done Indian!!!

Bought my Roadmaster a month ago and am extremely pleased with how it handles. The low center of gravity makes the bike feel lighter than it is. It responds easily to rider input in curves. Also enjoying the remote luggage locks, heated seat and hand grips. The bike is very comfortable. My wife rides with me and she absolutely loves the seat and back rest layout. Suspension is impressive - it's fantastic. No bottoming out or neck/back jarring has been experienced by my wife so far. I like the movable windshield, ride with it in it's highest position while cruising and get now wind. Lower it when I'm on tighter roads or in town. Love it. The power is great. Lots of torque.

Best riding And comfortable bike by far. Lots of storage room and still balanced and the few of a much smaller bike. Customer service has gone out of their way to answer any questions I may have.

Big fat luxury.
This is one magnificent bike. Everything about this bike from the pipes to the infotainment system is really dialed in. I have one gripe. This thing should come with the rider’s back rest. It completely transforms the bike. I can see 20k miles/year going on this bike easy with the addition of the backrest.

Great Cruiser
I have always liked the vintage look of Indian cruisers going back to the 50s and 60s. I have been impressed with the ride, modern electronics, and the performance. I am very happy that I have waited to purchase a motorcycle built with Polaris’s expertise and attention to detail.

Really a smooth comfortable ride
I traded in a 2015 Chieftain and the difference in the ride is great. I added the stage 2 upgrade and love the power and sound. The only complaint is the ride command. Doesn’t work as advertised. Has software issues and now waiting for updates.?

2019RM Review
This is my 2019 Icon. I had put 33,xxx miles on my 2016 RM and knew that my next buy would be another Indian RM. The Ride Command is a very nice addition and the rest of the electronic enhancements are a vast improvement on an already great motorcycle. The cubic inch displacement is the same, but the power increase that is available from just a bone stock bike is remarkable. 4,000 and some odd miles into this new bike, I am so very happy with my purchase. Well done Indian!!!

Much Better Motorcycle than Brand X
Rode Brand X American Vtwins for many many years. I was total brand loyal UNTIL I started having serious issues with brand new bikes. I also got tired of paying thousands of $$$ for upgrades that should have come with it.

So Satisfied!
