2022 Scout Sixty Black Metallic is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 488.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't beat the price and runs great I got my driver's license right before going to demo day. This was the 1st bike I rode. For the day i ended up going on 7 rides. By the end of the day this was my favorite being a new rider. Already got one on reserve. The customer service at Indian Motorcycle Kansas City is the best. Thanks to Blake and his crew I will be buying a Scout60 October 15th.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Scout 60 Excellent motorcycle. Nimble, easy to ride, feel like you are in full control. Great for beginners and experienced riders alike. Only drawbacks are 5 gears and less Hp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This bike is a perfect fit! If you want a bike, but don't want a large heavy one with fairings and all that stuff this is the bike for you. It has all the power that you will expect and then some. It has smooth power and handles very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice bike This bike is not for me. Uncomfortable, no power. My back hurt on even the little ride we did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bone Stock shredder I bought my th under black 60 just over a month ago. I've put 400 miles on it and love every minute. Low end torque is great when you need more go but dont want to down shift. Stock pipes are California chokers and quiet. My RCX slip ons are ordered. This is the first bike I've ever bought. Never rode before (except quads). Easy to handle, responds great. Love the style, stance and performance. Stock setup fits me really good. I'm 6'1" 230lbs. Pegs are out front with comfortable bend to the knees. Not crunched up but not stretched out. Stock bars are set good, long runs dont bother the arms at all. Grips are small but gloves help delay finger numbing. Like many others say, stock seat will get your butt numb after 45 minutes to an hour. But the seat holds you to the bike when you get her ripping through gears. You'd shoot off the back if not for that seat holding on to your rear. My only dislikes are plastic. Cost wise to keep price point down I get it. Would like an option for a metal belt guard and metal controls like the chief. This bike is a legend in it's own right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Head Turner!! Easy to ride I bought this bike a month ago.. I am a 50 year old woman who has never even sat on a motorcycle before!! Easy to learn and easy to handle.. I’m in Love.. great bike

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dream come true! It’s only been three days and I’m in love! Cornering and handling is effortless. Plenty of power for any road. Classic lines. A real head turner. People stop to comment and admire Every time I park!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My White 2016 Scout Sixty I bought this White Scout Sixty last year around this time and it was the best investment I have ever made. I am 5' 11' so I purchased the extended seat and controls. The only downside is the seat don't buy the Indian seat it is uncomfortable after 1 hour, instead buy a mustang seat they are real comfortable. Other than that the bike performs great and the handling is excellent, I really do love this bike. It is not a girls bike I mean almost 1000cc and it goes fast and diffidently a mans bike. I also added the rear seat, back pad, saddlebags but bought a different windshield for it. Overall it was a great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Young Again I’ve had my baby nearly a month and I look forward to riding this 2018 Scout Sixty every day, regardless of the weather conditions. It’s been nearly 15 years since I’ve ridden and I’m glad that I’ve had an opportunity to enjoy this well balanced, properly powered machine! This is absolutely the perfect motorcycle for any beginner, even my veteran riding friends enjoy this bike. You will too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One Year Review 6000 miles, never a dull moment. Don't get fooled by the critical reviews, there are bound to be a few lemons. I had a bad tank sensor that was taken care of immediately. I ride my bike on dirt 2 tracks and let's just say, well past the recommended tire rating on occasion (with a couple grand to go before redline). Never have felt that I wasn't 100% in control. The low stance and fat tires make her a much better bike than her HD competition. It's nice to have a bike that few others have, she gets compliments everywhere she goes. Buy One.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Regrets I bought my bike in March. It had been 15 years since I rode last. Perfect choice for me. Handles well. Great balance. Power in every gear. Just a great bike in every category. No regrets. Highly recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My Scout Sixty I have been riding for only a few years now. My previous bike was a Triumph Bonneville which I absolutely loved. However, the Bonneville's riding position was rough on my knees. I took advantage of an Indian financing deal and traded my Bonneville in for a Scout Sixty. My initial reaction was "Why didn't I go with the Scout Sixty to begin with?" The Scout Sixty is both powerful enough for my needs (commuting to and from work and casual weekend riding) and absolutely stunning to look at. But most importantly, I am thrilled to now be part of a rich motorcycle history. I never even considered a Harley or other brands. I love the fact that Indian is the first American motorcycle company yet continue to innovate and improve. I am proud to wear my Indian gear (there are way fewer of us on my company's parking lot, but the Indian numbers are definitely growing). At the end of the day, I am proud to be an Indian motorcycle rider. And the Scout Sixty is the perfect introduction to such a great product and rich history. I have a feeling my Scout Sixty will not be my last Indian.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic lines with modern technology Almost two years and I'm so happy with my purchase. It had been almost 10 years since I had a motorcycle and I was not really looking to ride again. I wanted an American Made motorcycle with classic lines but also had a little bit of power. Harley was not making a bike for me and neither was Indian until the Scout debuted. It was what I imagined and I could not be happier. Suspension on my 2016 is not the greatest but I hear the new models are improved. The exposed wiring has faded but not a huge deal. Factory exhaust is almost mute but I'm sure that is a regulation issue. Add some after market slip ons and she sounds great. Not enough to lose a star.
Date published: 2018-01-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bike under $10k by far You will not be disappointed in this bike. I’ve ridden mine little over 6k miles in the first year and absolutely love it. Just throw some after market slip-ons if you don’t want it to sound like a sewing machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A nod to the past, a path to the future.... I mentioned that the Indian Scout 60 was comfortable to sit on & fit me when I sat on one at the grand opening of RedHills in September 2017. Then I was gifted with it for Christmas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first bike!!! My Scout was my first Motorcycle. I’m so glad it was. It has excellent handling, plenty of power, and is fun to ride not to mention the design of this bike is gorgeous. I’m 6’6 and with the extended reach seat and a quick adjustment of the handle bars, this bike fit me well. Perfect bike to hop around on town or down the highway on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Bike I bought the Scout sixty in July of 16. I now have 8500 + miles. I have been riding to close to 50 years and have loved many of the bikes I have owned but none more than my Scout. I have very bad knees so I wanted a liter bike , she fits the bill 100 %. Pick up, mileage, comfort all in one package. But as many have already posted the accessories are way over priced. My dealer was fantastic , great staff very cool owner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully crafted Machine This is my Second indian scout. Eventhough the cons are still a a bug, all the pros’ take over. It is comfortable. Easy to maneuver in the city . Scouts love freeways, that is why i find it enjoyable to have long rides. The torque was something that surprised me from the beginning as it puts a smile on my face when i go to the fourth , fifth, sixth gear. Solid machine. No plastic anywhere. Sucks that there the closest dealer is 80 miles away but hopefully they expand once we,indian lovers, prove we all need a dealer in major cities or closer to them. The fact that scouts here in the US dont have the steering lock system installed, makes it unsafe in sketchy areas as people can just roll them away. So im supposed to spend $600 (parts + labor) to have it installed. So that sucks really. Overall it is my favorite baddest looking bike i’ve owned (Yamaha, suzuki, triumph, ducati) in my 18 year experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This is my 3rd Indian. I have a 1946 Indian Chief and a 2018 Indian Roadmaster. I bought this 100th Anniversary Scout for scooting around town. It’s comfortable, quick, nimble, and fast! As it is a “limited edition” (only 750 produced), I also think it’ll be a nice investment. I love the color as well, with hints of blue in the red.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Scout I've had the Scout for 2 months and I love it. I had a Sportster and find the Scout to be so much easier to manage and maneuver. Nice features - like a low fuel light!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bike! I bought my scout last summer, and absolutely love it. It’s my first bike and I was very impressed with the power and styling of the bike. I had bought all the accessories. I highly recommend the led pathfinder headlight, and getting the stage 1 straights. I just ordered the chrome spoked wheels and a set of whitewalls and am excited to see them installed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mid Sized Motorcycle I purchased my Indian Scout this spring and have put just under 3000 miles on it. It is one of the most comfortable motorcycles that I have owned over the years. I love the styling and the power and it fits me perfectly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Size matters. Love the bike but it’s a pretty small frame and you make up for it by stretching out the controls and handle bars making for an uncomfortable riding position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scout is an AWESOME bike, First off,I actually own a Metallic Jade 2018 Scout that I LOVE! Today 8-30-19 I rode the 2019 Bergundy over Thunder Black Scout with Indian stage pipes. Rode nice with decent power. Comes with Fox shocks for a better ride. Weird it had shorter bars like a bobber, So it felt like riding a bobber, When it was the regular scout. Still sweet though!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spunky and Responsive Very easy to handle, responsive and fast. Shifts well. I like to hear the engine when I shift, and it was too quiet. I burnt my leg on the pipes, so I would change them. I didn’t like that the signal lights were together on the same side. Fit and Finish was good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike I bought the bike in May, I traveled 2700 km, it's fantastic, manageable and with a gritty engine. The only flaw is the front brake a little weak for the performance it has. The bike consumes little, on average 21km / liter. I'm glad I bought it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade on seat. Suspension. Had a blast. Been training on a Harley sportster 1200 and the difference is night and day. I appreciate Harley’s “clunk” of the shifter, rattle of the engine, but the Indian shines on the suspension and smooth ride.10 times better than the sportsters including the iron 883. the scout had great throttle response, and nice upgrade on the new seats. stylistically it always wins but I also enjoyed the dash display. Visiting the demo truck at Ukes Harley at the end of the month to get another feel for what I’m buying next year, but right now it’s Indian. Appreciate the demo.r

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the looks of it the Scout Bobber 20 The performance of this bike is as expected. So far my experience on this bike is all good. Other than a bit of a bumpy ride at high speeds it’s great. I just wish I could have been able to use a discount coupon I got in the mail the day after. Just wish the Scout came with a gauge like the Chief Bobber with its round LCD apple CarPlay capabilities.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is how everyone should begin The Scout Bobber Sixty has been my very first motorcycle. Many tried convincing me to start on a 250cc or the like. Luckily for me I ignored them. The Sixty is the perfect blend of power, balance, and performance. So much so I don’t see myself trading up immediately like I most certainly would on many other “entry level” motorcycles. After the initial break in period, this bike easily gets up to 80mph on the highway, loving life between 4,000 and 6,000 rpms. Liquid cooling gives this modern v twin competitive advantage over other options, such as any of the Harley Davidson Sportster models. Like most new motorcycles, it’s needs some help to be heard. Both Indian and a variety of aftermarket companies can help give the exhaust a bit more presence. The one minor drawback that comes to mind is the lack of a gas gauge. The bike gets around 120-130 miles per gallon. I usually reset my trip odometer to know about how much longer I have in fuel, a light will come on when you have about 20 miles to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfortable and smooth ride I’ve had this motorcycle for about 2 months now. I was worried about how low the handlebars were compared to the previous bike I was riding and that it could cause my back to become sore or perhaps my shoulders (I’m 5’4, so I def have to lean a bit forward). But in all honesty it’s so comfortable and with my 35-50 minute commute (depending on traffic) I have not one complaint.

My main problem with this bike is there are arent many aftermarket mods made for the bike through anyone not even Indian. If they were whiling to do some more work on modifications for their bikes I would recommend 100%. Other custom shops did not help much as no one knew the ins and out of an indian. This bike is not comfortable for rides over an hour the seat is hard and the suspension is very rough. Wouldn't recommend if you are always on the bike.

I had to change the seat to the comfort seat and put on vance and hines slip ons to make it louder, but it is a super fun bike to ride.

Something also drew me to the brand. I learned over the years that my great grandfather owned one when he was younger. I recently learned after buying this bike that one of my grandfathers also owned one. After taking a 14 year break from riding I got back on this year. I wanted to go with a Challenger but couldn't jump right up to that level of bike right out of the gates. I started with the Bobber Sixty because of the price point and styling and love it. Other than a bit of a bumpy ride at high speeds it’s great. I just wish I could have been able to use a discount coupon I got in the mail the day after. Just wish the Scout came with a gauge like the Chief Bobber with its round LCD apple CarPlay capabilities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Bought at the beginning of September. Most comfortable motorcycle I've ever owned. It's maneuverable enough to get around in town with ease, and large enough to go for hours on the interstate and be comfortable while on the road. Effortless power from the Thunderstroke 111, even two up. With the stock exhaust, the sound is pretty subdued until you open the throttle. Then she'll bark plenty. Many people have asked why I didn't get a Harley Davidson. I tell them just take one demo ride and find out for yourself. Sure hope they do. I do wish that the accessories weren't so pricey but given the quality, it's hard to complain too loudly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Indian Review Over all the bike is exactly what I was hoping for and I am happy with it. It is well built and handles well. The only issues I have had so far is a noise which turned out to be a loose bolt. It was missing the seat bolts and there is a slight imperfection in the paint on the tank which I attached a picture. The transmission shifts a little hard but I assume it will break in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dream come true plus some Never thought could afford an Indian which has been a dream bike since I was a kid. Loved the price which was cheaper then the Harley's I was looking at. Has a better ride nice and soft with plenty of power to get up and go. It especially is a head turner that gives off a big WOW feature when people see it. My first add on was the pathfinder lights, head lightbis good but wanted a wider spread of light. It also really enhanced the look of the bike. Would not trade this bike for any other except maybe 2017 chieftain with new touchscreen. lol! But seriously I love my bike and it already has its place in our family

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love This Bike! After several years of riding, I think I finally found the one I will keep for a while. I love this bike. The way the Dark Horse looks with the Indian style and the ride is so smooth and easy. Everywhere I go, It seems to draw attention and a lot of positive feedback. I traded my Harley Fatboy Lo for this Dark Horse and I have never looked back. The Dealership, Treasure Coast Indian ,in Hobe Sound was Great with everything and very helpful. Made me fell at home as most of their staff came from the local Harley Dealer. My wife still has her Soft tail CVO ( the Beauty) and this is the" Beast"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike I've had the Darkhorse for 3 months, love the balance can hard over steering locked, slow speed turns with my girl behind me. Love under turning the other big bikes. Open highway its a dream cruse control on. Mountain roads around Cherokee NC a lot of fun, working my way to scraping holes in each side floorboard pans outside corners. The Thunder Stroke loves the Mountain roads two up at 280 lb no problem. So far I'm enjoying the heck out of the bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Retro Modern Crusier Great looking, comfortable with good fit and finish. Handles well for a big bike. The exhaust note (vans and hines) is amazing. The only downside is everyone stops you to ask questions. I liked the attention at first, but it gets old. It is a refined product with a distinct soul. The only options that I am considering are the pathfinder LED headlight, heated grips and seat. The accessories are pricey, but very high quality. If you are in the market for a cruiser, do not hesitate. Amazing bike.

It's sad just how much they DO NOT know about the products they sell!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of looks Own the 2016 Indian Dark Horse and a 2015 Roadmaster. Many bikers and others comment about its good looks on the Roadmaster but nothing compared to the Dark Horse. The Dark Horse is my wife's ride and the Roadmaster is mine. Literally every time we ride, she gets multiple looks, thumbs up, comments, etc. I might average a compliment every 5th time I ride. Both are great bikes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review of my 2016 Chief Dark Horse, Armageddon I purchased my Dark Horse this year in late June and already have more than 2,000 miles on it. Over all I do recommend this motorcycle. I personally do a lot of riding. The road King that I traded in had 65k+ miles, I loved it. This bike has superior handling and power. The matted black is really an eye catcher, and I am constantly complemented on it EVERY TIME I take it out. As things stand I would recommend an Indian over anything else for anyone that does a lot of riding and traveling. Did over 300 miles miles yesterday, and the bike ate up the miles and despite being completely "stock " I was comfortable the whole time. Now for what I don't like. I just wished it came with the blacked out pipes and better sound. Just like Harley if you want better sound and performance, which both companies already KNOW WE DO!!! You are going to have to pay for it yourself. Wish someone would just MAKE THE BIKE THE WAY THEY ALREADY KNOW WE WANT IT!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome power, excellent handling and cool facto I have owned this bike for about 2 months and could not be happier. It is the nicest thing I have ever done for myself. The bike is just plain FUN and the cool factor is unmatched. Very happy to be an Indian rider and owner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2016 Dark Horse In general I would give this bike a 4.5 out of 5 just because I don't like how the pipes are the first thing to scrape going into a corner. Other bike I have ridden the foot pegs are the first thing to scrape, and pegs would be a lot easier and cheaper to replace than pipes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best cruiser on the market from the comfort of the sitting position to the handling on back country roads the dark horse is amazing. You can ride for hours without feeling wore down. The styling makes this bike stand out. The matte black finish with a suebdued silver warbonnet on the tanks makes a bold statement. The power of engine is completely incredible. The exhaust is probably the best sounding stock exhaust I have heard on a bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 2017 Springfield Rocks! I bought my 2017 Springfield in April, 2017. I now have almost 15,000 miles on it. Been riding for 52 years and have owned 100's of motorcycles. I also have a BMW. I LOVE my Indian Springfield. It is by far the best cruiser I have ever owned and is so comfortable to ride on long multi-day rides. It handles, brakes, accelerates better than any other cruiser bikes I have ever had. Thanks Indian (Polaris) for rebooting an American icon the right way!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Handling Heavyweight I've ridden my Springfield from September through November (thanks to the heated grips) and found it lived up to its reputation as a great handling, comfortable bagger. What I didn't expect was the attention it got from passers-by due to the beautiful fit and finish. Despite the bike's weight, it is easy enough to manoeuver. The one negative is accessing the rear tire to check the air pressure due to the closed fender and exhausts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Retirement Gift to myself! After telling myself I would get a Harley when I retire, after seeing my buddies Heritage Softail 30 years ago or so, I started looking hard a year ago or so in anticipation of me retiring at the end of 2017. Road some, looked at some. Kept thinking, everyone has one of these. Buddy of mine told me how much he loves his Chief. So I looked at Indian. Wow! They were gorgeous. Ended up with a Springfield. Love it! The more I ride It the more I love It. Get a lot of double takes on it from people, like “ hey, wait, that’s not a Harley!”. Ya I know! What a retirement gift! Thirty years in the making.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 204-mile lunch run today, Jan. 18, 2018 When people ask me how I like my Indian I respond this way: "I love it, it's comfortable, it's simple and it's FUN!" The odometer turned over 4,000 miles today as I rode out of Borrego Springs, CA, with some fast-moving Harley riders. We'd just had lunch there, having ridden from Palm Desert earlier in the day. These other riders get aggressive with their throttles (some with 110 ci motors) and a big smile comes across my face as I twist my Indian throttle and this beefy 111 ci comes alive with torque and power--so much so that I'm having to keep a close eye on the Harley directly in front of me. No sense running him over! I ride about 20,000 miles per year, and I have four touring bikes. Otherwise I would have already racked up many more miles on this white Springfield last year. Today's lunch run which incorporated a multitude of twisties and elevation changes proved to me that my Indian is not only a touring bike but a sport bike that agressively takes on tight curves in a nimble fashion. I'm very favorably impressed. Oh, on almost every ride, while occasionally stopped, some stranger walks up to me and compliments my Indian. It's an all-around FUN machine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wanted the Springfield all along... I knew I wanted a Springfield from the day I first read about it. An Indian with removable windshield and hard saddle bags, perfectly capable of long distance touring that can be quickly stripped down to cruise with that classic Indian look and feel. I've had my Blue Sapphire over Star Silver (gorgeous!) Springfield for about six months now and could not be happier. Much smoother ride than what I was used to. Handles like a dream with plenty of power. A real attention getter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm glad my wife talked me into buying it... In February of 2017 I was looking at a custom Scout, I had the dealership holding it for me after making a deposit. When my wife and I visited the Indian showroom in Manchester, NH we really started looking at the other bikes. I was checking out the Springfield when a petite woman around five foot five threw her leg over the bike and said, "If I could, this would be the one." She walked away and my wife came over and said "hey big fella, think you can handle something like this now?" My rationale for looking at the Scout was that I didn't want a large heavy bike as I hadn't ridden since I was roughly 26 years old -- I started riding again at 50 in June of 2016. My wife told me to look at the Springfield so that we wouldn't repeat another purchase to a larger bike in the next year or so. I traded another American brand for my Springfield and am thrilled after taking the risk. While I think the Scout is a nice bike too, the Springfield is so well balanced you could corner with one hand (if one wants to ride around like that). To date there has not been one instance where I thought I would drop the bike. It has more power than one will ever need and is simply a beautiful versatile bike. Hard saddle bags are great for a gallon of milk or supplies for a trek across New England. The instruments and display leave little doubt for how things are running. I have had some stuff come up - kick stand sensor caused the warning light to stay on for 30 miles once and another sensor came on another time. The minor blips are far overshadowed with an otherwise great product. I'd buy another Indian again without hesitation (and just might if my wife isn't looking)...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Throttle I love the bike except for one thing - the throttle. The grip requires way too much twist to get any real response. You almost have to grab it twice to get to full throttle. Perhaps if Indian worked with Vance & Hines to develope a Fuelpak 3 like the one for Harley’s then the progressivity could be adjusted for crisper response. Other than that the bike is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Never looking back Bought my 2017 Springfield on July 5th of 2017. What brought me to it was a friend of mine who was A HD rider for over 30yrs bought an Indian in 2016, I waited till 2017 to ask him how he liked it. His response was "Love it, I'll never go back to HD". At the time I had a 2014 HD 1200 I had to see what changed this man's mind so off I went to Mom's in Foxboro Ma. Needless to say the rest is history the 1200 Stayed and the Springfield went home with me.you have to ride one to see why, there's no words to describe the Indian bike

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Cruiser Yet I had a Chieftain before I bought my 2016 Springfield. Thought I'd miss the sound system that the Chieftain came with. Before I took delivery on my 2016 Springfield, I had it upgraded to Stage 2, which included pipes, performance air cleaner, re-mapping, and Stage 2 cams. Now I don't miss the sound system because the exhaust note is music to my ears. The Springfield is also the best handling motorcycle I've ever had (bar none), and I've had a bunch including Harley & rice-burners. Do not try one out unless you're ready to buy a new bike, because if you do, then you will buy one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dream bike. This is my first new bike since my Honda CB125 when I was 16. This is my first American bike. I have had my eye on the Springfield since it debuted. It is everything I have ever wanted in a bike. Massive, powerful engine, incredible low end torque and wicked throttle response. A perfect combination of the classic cruiser style I love and all the high tech anyone could want. I fall more in love with this machine with every mile I ride. I bought a 2017 on clearance and got an amazing deal. I'm in love!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I've been waiting for... I'd been thinking "Indian" for a few years. I visited my local dealership (several times) and really fell for the Chief Vintage. I thought, "If I could get something like this with hard saddlebags, I'd be all over it". Then along came the Springfield. I'd ridden a touring bike with a fairing for the last six years and really wanted the protection (and look) of a windshield, and the convenience of the hard bags for long rides. Having the option to remove both and cruise with the bike "stripped down" is awesome. The look is so different, it's like having two bikes! The shield is truly quickly detachable. Takes seconds to put it on or to take off. The bags are easily removed also, with a couple of levers and an easily unplugged wire, you're looking at a few minutes total. And speaking of that wire, the remotely locking bags are great. Use either the button on the dash or the security fob to lock/unlock and you're done. I've had my Springfield for about two months now and have put roughly 2500 thoroughly enjoyable miles on. The bike looks great, handles extremely well and has plenty of power. Take one for a test ride. You won't be disappointed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love that nostalgic look! As soon as Indian came out with the Springfield I made my decision to buy one. Exactly what I wanted. A windshield less the fairing. Plus I have the ability to remove when needed. I had been without a bike for 20 years until I purchased this. I was right at home on this bike in less than a day!. My wife and I just love it. The drive belt adjustment is my only concern at this point. It's very sensitive to alignment. Has to be perfect otherwise you get a lot of chirping/squeaking from the belt and pulleys.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made, fun to ride, difficult to clean. Purchased in June 2017, I had forgotten how much fun it is to ride a motorcycle. The Indian is expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for! It is well made, sound, classic looking and has yet to let me down when I want to ride. It is fairly good on fuel but could be better! I am 6' and the stock windshield could be a few inches taller. Overall, I would recommend this model!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First ride on a big bagger I bought a Scout Bobber this Spring and I love it. I put a 2 up seat on it and the wife and I have cruised the NH seacoast and had a blast. However, with 2" of rear suspension and no storage, it is a short ride bike with 2 people. I wanted to try a big bagger, having never ridden an 800# bike. Turns out the weight is not noticeable. The ergonomics are different than the Bobber so it took a few minutes to get comfortable. Once settled in I loved it. Low end torque, soft seat and suspension, warm behind the fairing, GPS, etc, etc. I guess I need 2 Indians!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The new seat placement. Great Im looking to get the new chieftain. Compared to the 2018 with the better seat placement makes way more better ride. I also like the better shaped saddle bags of the 2019. However I do like the fairing of the 2018 with the blinkers intagreated in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great suspension I rode the Chieftain and compared to my HD Road glide Custom the ride was plush. Enjoyed the solid feel of the bike also. I am used to my modified Harley so I also rode a 116 model and found it to be much better for me. Thanks for the ride.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Most fun to ride Motorcycle I have owned I bought my 2014 Chieftain in January 2018. It had only 2600 miles on it. 8 months later I have 10,000 miles on the odometer. Best ride ever. The piston slap (clacking) and excessive valve train noise (that was finally fixed in the 2018 models with a new piston design) is very annoying even though Polaris says it will not impact reliability. If they would fix this problem, my Chieftain would be a 5 out of 5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Responsive I only had a 20 minute demo ride, but here is what I can tell you. Throttle response and torque were excellent, as were the brakes. Handling was excellent also. Interstate and winding curves were intuitive and stable. The electric windshield was nice, but I think I'd leave it in the highest position all the time for me, I'm 6ft tall. Shifted excellent too. The rear brake pedal was too small for my liking, but that is minor. The seat was comfortable and supportive, but a long trip would be needed for conclusive results, as would the saddle bags, which I didn't use. Also, for a heavy bike, the balance, even at slow speeds was excellent. It was an enjoyable ride. Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bike This was my first time riding an Indian Motorcycle and I was very impressed. I love the instant throttle response, the clutch engages almost as soon as you let out the clutch lever. The bike is very well balanced, I could easily roll at 3mph and not ever feel like I was going to lose balance. The bike does not feel heavy at all. The best part is the power, this bike has lots of torque in every gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very impressive motor and vintage look! I rode a new Chieftain while attending the Lake Ozark Bike Fest. I have owned 2 Honda VTX 1800's, a Harley Street Glide and a Harley Softail. I must admit that the motor in this Indian had very impressive torque and the paint and finish on this bike lived up to it's premium bike class. Polaris has done an outstanding job of offering the riding public a bike worthy of the Great American Road!

Great sound system the Ride command system is great. The bike looks great I'm always getting complements on what great looking bike. The one thing Indian could fix is the heat coming off the right side of the motor. but I would recommend this bike for anyone who loves to ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable, powerful all day ride. Got my '18 back in September of '17. over 6 months and 6,000 miles later, it's still one of the best, reliable twins I've ridden. The stock seat and passenger pad are plenty comfortable for all day riding. The bike is already set up for quick release passenger pad and cargo rack, which we added for extra comfort. Just a great bike all around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike but still have headlamp issues I've had my Chieftain for about 4 years, and the engine is great. The only problem that I have, which has been persistent, is the headlamp and auxiliary lights short circuit, and won't go on. This problem has been addressed a couple of times, but due to all my driving along PCH in Malibu for 55,000 miles so far, the salt air and moisture seems to cause problems with the wiring and definitely eats the chrome. The performance of the bike is exceptional for driving and handling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from THE BEAST!! Demo days test rider 8-30-19. The one I rode was the 116 ci loaded black beast,All the performance upgrades, Motor, Cams, Pipes, Etc. Cushy seat, Nice balance to weight ratio, Big time power, Shifting kind of hard and clunky to me, Quite a bit of vibration through the dash and handlebars. Still a fun bike and glad I tried it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I loved my 2018 I bought my Darkhorse in September of 2017 off of the show room floor at All Out Cycles and have put over 31,000 miles on it in under 2 years. I’ve had several electrical problems but it’s a machine and machines have problems. She has been a good bike and has been enjoyable to ride. I just rode her from Virginia to Sturgis, South Dakota and ended up trading my 2018 Chieftain Darkhorse to a 2019 Chieftain Darkhorse!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good bike, but needs more room I test rode a 2019 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse in Sturgis. I had high hopes as I come from a Victory Cross Country, so that is where my comparison comes from: --Engine: I have "stage 1" on my Victory, and when compared to a stock ThunderStroke 111 my butt dyno couldn't tell a difference. I was hoping for a bit more, sadly. --Fit & Finish: The Indian is great here. Seems like a high quality, well engineered motorcycle (it has Victory DNA, after all). Definitely a quality machine. --Ergonomics: This is where Indian falls flat. I wish they would quit trying to copy Harley Davidson and make a bike that someone 6' 1" tall can easily stretch out on. When riding I had to keep my feet hanging halfway off the front of the floorboards. I do not have to do that on a Victory in order to let my legs stretch a little. Also, my passenger was much closer to me, hugging me almost, than on my Victory. I very much tried to get over the ergonomics differences. In fact I came back the next day and test rode one again with a different mind set. Unfortunately I am completely spoiled by Victory. I was very much willing to spend a lot of money to buy the Indian in Sturgis, unfortunately the ergonomics factor completely turned the Indian bikes into a non-factor for me. That's really too bad. I would only recommend Indian motorcycles to someone shorter than 6-feet tall, or someone that doesn't mind not being able to stretch out a bit while riding.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 116 Kit is a WOW I own a 14 Chieftain. This new bike with the 116 kit was awesome! The power upgrade was more than I thought it would be. Great bike, high rise handle bars would take some getting used to and the touch screen SAT/NAV is pretty nice too. I still prefer the classic styling of mine but this was a great bike.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing Handling Machine I rode this bike during a demo day. I currently own a 2018 Harley Street Glide Special. The Indian impressed me with the suspension and handling. It ate up road bumps that would have jarred me on my Harley. The brakes were way better as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from stage 2 upgrade I already own a 2019 Indian Roadmaster which i love and wanted to test ride a bike with either a stage 2 or 3 to see what i am going to choose as an upgrade. After testing the stage 2, i am satisfied that i will be upgrading to a stage 2. the power and sound is just perfect for this bike and since my Roadmaster is just a upgraded Chieftain dark horse, i will be happy to be upgrading my bike with a stage 2. BTW, i have road tested numerous bikes over the years and can say without a doubt that the Indian brand is by far the most beautiful bike out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth This bike is fantastic for tall riders. I'm 6'9" and it felt great! I test rode a 116 with some higher bars and had plenty of room. The bike has a TON of power, and despite the size corners surprisingly well; the most balanced machine I have ever ridden.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The power delivery and comfort is amazing. This is my upgrade for sure. My wife and I got to check it out today and it's more than I could ever want. Such an amazing ride. The power delivery was perfect and so comfortable through the corners and over the bumps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most capable bike I’ve ever ridden I test rode a DH Chieftain with mid rise bars, extended reach seat, and the 116” motor. I’m 6’3” and I couldn’t have been more comfortable. I’ve owned two HD Wide Glides, and two Victory Kingpins and this DH Chieftain took the cake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chieftain Dark Horse 116 big bore kit The test ride was amazing! That 116 big bore kit had so much power! The different modes of riding were really cool too! The only thing I think they should do when putting the riders together is maybe have the less experienced ones in the back. Some of those guys clearly had not rode in a group before and had no idea what a staggered formation was. Some of them were all over the place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome power I just attended the Indian motorcycle Demo ride in my area and chose the Chieftain Dark Horse. I was amazed by the power and throttle response especially in Sport mode.I took the bike through some twisty's and the handling was great. The adjustable electric windscreen is also a good added feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2019 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse (Bronze Smoke) Bought the is bike in Sep 2018 and now have a little over 8,000 miles on it. Time for a review. On the day of purchase I did back to back test rides of a 2019 HD Street Glide Special and a 2019 Chieftain Limited. Both great bikes and both have pros and cons but in the end I chose the Chieftain. Things I like: Features - The Chieftain has led lighting all around and I really like the adjustable windshield and locking saddle bags. I do like the three ride modes but find myself typically riding in "Standard" mode. I appreciate the rear cylinder deactivation feature but have yet to use it. Even living here in Arizona I don't find engine heat to be an issue. I really like the ride command. It's intuitive, easy to use and has all the info I'll ever need. The tire pressure monitoring system is very nice to have. The ride - The bike rides and handles great. The suspension and ride quality was a big factor for me when choosing between the Chieftain and Street Glide. The Indian was just better. I also found the ergonomics better. The Indian fits me well. For being a heavy bike it sure does handle well. Feels light and nimble. Style - Of course this is subjective but I really like the new style. Yes, it looks more like an HD but I'm okay with that as I've always liked Street Glides. And I hate to say it but I've never liked the fairing, bags and big fenders on the older Indians. Guess I'm not nostalgic. I just don't like the "dated" look. Performance - The 111 is fine for me and I like that the power is down low. Being bagger I rarely push the RPM's that high anyway. Short shifting is pretty much how I ride. Would I like more power? Of course. I've considered the stage 3 kit but to be honest don't trust the dealership to install it correctly. Right now the bike doesn't have any issues and I'd like to keep it that way. I do have stage 1 installed (Indian Performance Air Intake and Rinehart exhaust). The Rineharts sound great. Things I don't like or wish were better and things I fixed: My biggest complaint is the dealership network and availability of parts and add-ons. The HD dealerships near me seem to be well organized and have everything you can think of to add on to your bike. Not so with Indian. Lots of things aren't available and when they are they're not in stock and need to be ordered. As mentioned above I would like to add stage 2 or 3 but just don't trust them to do it correctly. I did not have that feeling with HD. With every bike I've owned my very first purchase was touch-up paint for the inevitable rock chip in the fender, fairing and bags. Can I get that for my Bronze Smoke bike? Nope, not yet. Have contacted Polaris multiple times and they don't have it yet and they won't provide the paint code for proprietary reasons. It's a small thing but I found it to be odd and a little annoying. I would also like some lower wind deflectors but those aren't available yet either, at least not by Indian. While I like the led lighting I don't like the colored lenses on the front and rear signals. I wish they were clear or smoked. I figured that would be an easy upgrade but I'm having a hard time finding them. This could be on me. I also wish the front signals were dual purpose, turn signals and running lights. There may be after market options for this already but I'm not able to find them. A couple things I had to change - The stock windshield wasn't working for me so I upgraded to the 13.7 Indian Flare windshield which is a nice improvement. I've heard good things about the Rogue seat and in the beginning I liked it. I expected it get even better after some time breaking it in but that wasn't the case. Surprisingly it got worse and after 7K miles I replaced it with an Ultimate seat. The Ultimate seat sits me a little higher but it's way more comfortable. Big difference. Also, the Ultimate seat and backrest combo was pretty much the same price as the Rogue backrest and bracket alone. Getting the Ultimate was a no-brainer. The prices of Indian accessories is a little crazy. So in summary, the things I don't like are pretty small complaints and pale in comparison to the things I like about the 2019 Chieftain Dark Horse. The bike itself is great and I hope it proves to be reliable over the years to come. My other hope is that the after market and dealership network continues to improve. For the bike, I give it five stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME FOR 2019! I bought this Chieftain Limited on 09/26/18 and I couldn't be happier! Indian is definitely setting the standard for the modern age biker. "More bang for your buck", is an understatement! Its the many different features, and accessories that make a world of difference. This motorcycle has no shortage of them. Great bike for the many miles , and many smiles! Be prepared to get plenty of compliments! My only "con" is that I don't like the new "gunfighter" seat. I replaced it with the "genuine leather heated touring" seat. Other than that, 2 thumbs up!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap bike Poor rider position, break pedal should be a pedal rather then a peg. Position of controls too far forward on footboard. Jerky throttle response. Hand controls awkward position, seat too narrow. Overall the feel of the bike was cheap, does not have refined feel like Harley. Stereo weak, not enough power, hard to figure out display

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional comfort and ride I enjoyed the opportunity to ride the Chieftain Limited. The ride and comfort surpassed my expectations. I recently test drove the Harley Davidson Road Glide and I must say the Chieftain was far better in every aspect. The engineers at Indian really put a lot of effort into the design and operational facets of the vehicle. I'm not quite ready to purchase a new motorcycle, but when I am, i will most definitely purchase an Indian. Thank you again for the opportunity to ride a piece of art.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great handling bagger The ride quality of this amazing bike is well thought out and in my opinion, surpasses Harley in comfort. The new ride select feature is a great option on this engine abs brings the performance on par with the Harley Milwaukee 8 engine. Being a shorter rider myself, I did find it difficult to put up the kick stand while on the bike but after that everything else was easy. The slow maneuvering and dipping into turns was confidence inspiring, easy and fun. The touch screen was easy to manipulate. The movable windscreen is a great usable feature and all the controls were easy to get to for me using my thumbs. The cruise control was easy to engage and that stock sounds system blew me away! Way louder then the Harley sound system. The difference I find between this amazing bike (Chieftain Limited) and the Harley Street Glide is that the Indian has to be short shifted to stay in the correct power band. The Thunderstroke engine in these newer models do have the get up and go that is a noticeable improvement over earlier models.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best motorcycle I have ever ridden I rode this motorcycle during a demo ride. I enjoyed so much that I spent all morning and part of the afternoon riding it. I especially enjoyed choosing from the three different ride modes (standard, touring, sport). Once I tried the sport mode I remained in that mode because it was such a trill. The motorcycle had ample torque and was extremely responsive. The bike shifted flawlessly and cornering was like a bird in flight. If I were to purchase a new motorcycle this would definitely be the one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic Style and Sound! I test rode this bike and I love the styling and I love the sound too but it seems to me that the 111 Thunderstroke is just lacking in power! I test rode a new 2019 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse in Bronze Smoke and it had the Stage 3 116 Thunderstroke Kit in it and I was much more impressed with the power of the 116 over the 111! It's a fantastic bike but if you like to romp on your bikes from time to time and play with some horsepower like me then I definitely recommend the 116 upgrade!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a fantastic bike! Bought my 2018 Indian Chieftain Limited back in April from Indian of Savannah GA. Amazing dealer by the way! I love this bike- traded a HD Road King Classic in on it and couldn't be happier. The rear shock is absolutely got to be my favorite feature- the ride is amazing for sure. The Ride Command system is amazing- speakers rock! I've personalized mine a little as we all do and love this machine more and more every time I ride it. The adjustable windshield is an amazing feature as well but the 111 motor is smooth and will absolutely fly! Go get one- you'll be glad you did!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth riding with touchscreen features I'm loving my 2018 Chieftain! Smooth riding and a touchscreen features lets me keep up with everything going on with my bike. I have the only Indian in my town. Beautiful bike and i'm getting so many compliments from Harley riders!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice bike I appreciate the thoughtful features: Tire pressure indicator, remote locking bags, split screen capability, digital display options, the location of the phone/ipod holder, etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for intended purpose I began riding by racing off road, so prefer footpegs to be under me. I ride a 20 year old BMW at present, and the Indians I tried had more features, lower seat, but not as responsive handling or compliant suspension. I think the Chieftan or Roadmaster would be good on a long relaxed ride, and preferable to a Harley. It was good for the feet forward riding style, but probably would get another BMW for the money. I would consider if I had a lot of money as a second or third bike.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Ergos on this bike are cramped ( I’m 6-0). The switchgear feels cheap and not placed intuitively, and the suspension is marginal, at best. Love the engine though, especially with the stage 2 cams. Sorry; I won’t be buying an Indian any time soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent bike I love the chieftain because of the features and the ride. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was I’m a bit to tall for it and I felt a little smushed in it. Otherwise one of the smoothest rides I’ve ever had on a motorcycle!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good ride I like the bike I rode. The only thing I want to mention - the middle size monkey bars is not my thing. Other than that - good bike, good event.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Bike I rode the Chieftain limited today and the ride was smooth and comfortable. I have been a sportbike rider in the past and now have a small cruiser. There are tons of features and the radio is great. At the last demo days, I rode the chieftain that was bored out with cams and exhaust. Riding this stock model was quite a bit less impressive. Throttle response seemed a little delayed and the power was noticeably missing - hence the 4/5 star review. Still a great bike and will definitely be the bike I buy if I choose to buy Indian.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great suspension. Great riding bike. As far as the suspension you got Harley best all day long. The seat tho is very uncomfortable

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike I love the ride before you buy event that Indian put on today. Help me solidify what I really want. This particular Chieftain had many upgrades stage one and two kit billet floorboards lowered an inch and a half custom windshield 14 inch ape hanger handlebars. And many other upgrades beautiful brilliant blue paint job. This bike has so much power you really had to be on your toes when giving it throttle. Indian definitely puts out an amazing bike. This is the particular model I had my heart set on, but I also test road the road master that bike blew me away. That is the direction I am going is buying a roadmaster. Thanks again Indian !!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good machine lacked comfort Motor, suspension and handling was awsome. Couldn’t get the windshield adjusted optimally to reduce wind buffeting, needs to be taller. I found the seat to be very uncomfortable and seemed to push me to far forward in the bike. I’m 5 10 but seemed to me it would help to be seated farther back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don’t plan on being home once you buy it! I’ve had my Chieftain Limted for a year now & by far it’s the best cruiser out there. From the back woods of PA to the turnpike in Philadelphia; this bike handles it all. Choosing Indian after being a dedicated Harley owner was one of the best choices I have ever made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best all around bike I ever owned! I purchased a 2017 Elite about a year ago.. the more I ride this bike the more I enjoy it! Handles and performs better than any cruiser I’ve ever ridden! I tell people that it’s like a BMW RT married a HD Street Glide and the Chieftain is that child!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very smooth comfortable ride We bought this bike at the end of July, traded a victory motorcycle for it. It was a great deal and we are very happy we decided to trade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Bike! I've had my Roadmaster for 7 weeks now - I'm in LOVE! Riding this bike is almost like riding down the street on your sofa - it's THAT smooth. A guy from work has a Harley, and we went to a biker bar. On the way home, at EVERY stoplight we hit, he's standing up; stretching; then looking back at me - his Harley vibrates SO MUCH that he was just trying to get feeling back - I told him I was PERFECTLY fine. I think I finally have him talked into at least going to the Indian dealer, and taking some test rides - these bikes sell themselves!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Bike, So Far, Handles & Rides Great Had it for about 2 months, Rides & handles Great, Only Problems I Don't Like is The Grips & So Far the seat. But I Think Its to New & Needs Broken in. Plus The Boss aka Wife Loves it. I Think I Might Have a Couple of Friends that are thinking about trading theirs in for a Indian, Sad thing about this Bike, Which has nothing to do with it, My Riding seasons might be over for this year, Have to go get my Knee hacked on next week, But I've Been know to ride with a Cast on. FTW (Forever Two Wheels)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I enjoy the touring features. This is my third Indian. The only negative for this bike is opting for the stage 2 upgrade. I was happier with the rideability of the stage 1 I had on my previous bikes. I may have the stage 2 cams changed out for the stock cams.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME MACHINE I can't believe that I have FINALLY found my DREAM BIKE! It is everything that I've been looking for in a true "Big Boy" Road Machine. Smooth, quick, and powerful. The balance is incredible! For the first time in a long time, I can just add pressure on my right or left foot, and the bike leans! Not since my dirt bike days in the 70's, have I been on a bike that is SO responsive. She handles more like a crotch rocket or a trials bike, rather than a 900 lb road machine. Fit and finish is wonderful, the Navionics are first rate, the power plant is always ready to give you more, and whip you backwards in the saddle. The styling is agelessly classy. My only regret- I wish I did this sooner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit, form and function!!! After my 2013 Victory CC was totaled (I got rear-ende) I went to see how comfortable the Indians were. Well to say the least it was extremely comfortable. Love all the attention to detail that was taken on these bike. Great craftsmanship and beautifully executed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy for the upgrade My lovely wife convinced me to “upgrade” to the 2019 Roadmaster in order to get the 7” RideCommand, the three ride modes, the rear cylinder shut-off and this beautiful Icon paint job. The fit and finish is great just like it was on my 2016 Roadmaster but the new vents in the new lowers seem to work better to help manage the heat. The 1811cc Thunderstroke engine is super solid and pulls like a train! The new 2020 Roadmaster has the 116 C.I. engine stock but from my point of view, the 111 C.I. engine is all I need! If you ridden the Harley offerings in the Touring Category, you are going to be pleasantly surprised by what the Indian Roadmaster has to offer in is stock configuration that you pay extra for on a Harley. Come check one out today!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome bike with a few glitches I absolutely love the bike with 2 exceptions. First, Quality Control. A couple of days after getting the bike home, I noticed a paint flaw on the trunk lip where paint never adhered. It was about 3mm circle, but annoying that the manufacturer, nor the dealer captured it. Second is the face that the Ride Command system frequently seems to freeze or reset. This is extremely frustrating when the nav goes down while in the city. That being said, the dealer I purchased from is absolutely terrible and I will never go back there for parts or service. Fortunately I have 2 others to choose from nearby.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my Roadmaster Except for mapping Traded my 2017 Roadmaster for a new 2020 Roadmaster. This bike flows more air in the drivers area which results in less engine and exhaust heat. Performance wise, the 116 feels much stronger vs the 111. I love everything about this bike with the exception of the new info screen. I no longer have a digital mph reading on the map page. The volume for GPS needs the be able to be set separately from the radio volume. No average mpg readout. Non hard surface roads need to red on the map.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What was I waiting for? I’ve owned 6 new Harley-Davidson’s before finally trading for my Roadmaster. I am so happy with the performance and handling of this bike. I look forward to putting the miles on. At 6’5” HD doesn’t make a bike I can really stretch out on and now I can take my wife with me in comfort. You would have to spend thousands on a new Harley to get it to not quite this level.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tourer Excellent power and handling. Had to add rocker shift and swap out the grips and seat (the standard factory seat is more comfortable than the custom seat my model came with). Love the options, though the blue tooth won't work with any model ipod (I don't have an ipone and rely on an ipod for my music) though the literature says otherwise. However, the bike is excellent, with both smooth throttle response and a really cush suspension. I ride with my wife, so comfort is king, and this bike delivers.
