Scout Sixty
Desde $11,749 Precio de venta sugerido por el fabricante en EE. UU.
2022 Scout Sixty Black Metallic is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 489.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Bike Great get around town bike! Awfully powerful for a small bike.
Date published: 2017-09-06
Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent bike I get so many compliments on my Scout when I'm stopped. When I'm riding, I get nothing but head turns and waving.
Date published: 2017-08-31
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Cruiser I bought my Sixty in Sep of 2016. I have been riding for over 50 years and it ties for the motorcycles I have loved the most of over thirty motorcycles I've owned. The other bike was a 1974 Norton Commando. I bought the 60 because of LACK of stupid features on bikes today. Keep it simple! The only mod has been a performance air filter from K&N. Did that make a difference!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun bike Feels lighter than it is, good usable power, great handling bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from can't say enough good things about this bike picked this up in late feb. -put my first 500 miles on in some cold weather-----cold or not the fun factor was over the top-was a small problem with an oil leak but this was corrected and has been trouble free since

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Motorcycle Love The Vintage Look! Love the look and handling of the Scout. Put slip-on exhaust with no re-mapping, bike works great and sounds better. Motorcycle is well worth the money and would recommend it to anyone interested in a mid-size motorcycle. I have owned Honda, Harley, Yamaha, Victory and would put this product against any of them.Great Job Indian!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coolest mid-size bike out there Have had this bike for 2 month. Very satisfied. No issues. Fit & Finish - best looking bike out there. The style and the design and the colors, no other brand or bike can even compete with this one. It has character in it. Power - plenty of power for the city riding. Acceleration is amazing and have to be careful cause that torque does make you feel like you might fall the bike. Don't see the point in paying extra $3k for the Scout for just a bit more power. This is more than enough. No Harley in this category is comparable. Sound - the stock exhaust is not the greatest but it is not annoying either. Handling - good maneuverability, low center of gravity makes it very stable. I feel very solid on it at any speed. Turning at the corners is very easy and no extra effort required, just glides like an arrow. Harley riders look at it with envy and amazement. Would not say that the engine heat is huge. Yes, you do feel it if stopping a lot at the lights, but it feels pleasant rather than an issue. Definitely would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Scout 60 I have had this bike for 2 months now and the more that I ride it the more that I like it. Looks great, nice and smooth with plenty of power for the back roads I love to ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow is all I have to say Purchased my Indian Scout 60 a week & a half ago. I have not ridden a bike regularly for 30 years (and back then it was motocross bikes). I sat on this bike in the showroom, no test ride prior to purchase, but I knew it felt just right. I am LOVING this bike, easy to ride, smooth, lots of power and runs like a dream. Thank you Peak Powersports, Oakville Ontario Canada.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best I've owned... great styling, no mistaking it for anything else but an Indian... great ride!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bike This bike rides very smooth. I have had it for a month and had no issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I Made A Mistake After owning the bike for a month, here's what I have: Won't start after a couple days of sitting in the garage. That battery tirelessly cranks but the engine just won't kick over. When I release the start button it keeps cranking as if I were still holding the start button. Then after about a dozen attempts it will start. How aggravating! The dealer isn't sure what is causing that issue. The speedometer drops to 40mph and uses that as my "zero." So I don't know my speed. And the deal killer: excessive engine heat. I owned a V-Rod that would heat up significantly at stop lights. But this bike is worse. I have never sweated through my pants from a motorcycle. Not even the V-Rod. The heat from this bike is unbearable. I never noticed it during break-in because I drove out in the country with very few stops. Once I started riding in the city the heat issues began. I got rid of the V-Rod for this issue and will do the same with the Scout Sixty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet ride I bought my bike at the end of 2016 and due to Winter weather, I have only been riding it for the last month. I absolutely love this bike. It is my first road bike and she fits me to a tee. Perfect center of gravity, easy to handle, smooth shifting and beautiful lines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thanks Indian My wife bought this for my 70th Birthday! Thank you Baby, and thank you Indian for making a really nice bike.
Date published: 2017-05-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A blast at any speed Surprisingly quick and nimble, have owned several bikes and brands but the little scout is different. It's just more fun to ride.
Date published: 2017-05-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! My Scout is my second bike. I learned and practiced on my 2009 Honda Rebel 250 and the differences are amazing! I feel much more confident and safe on my Scout than I ever did on the Rebel. So easy to ride, love that it sits nice and low, balance is amazing. Just a beautiful bike over all. I sat on many bikes before deciding on the Scout but nothing felt as good as the Scout did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True to the original. As an older, lighter guy who hasn't ridden much in 30 years, I wasn't sure. I did the research, watched the youtube videos, read everything on the net. Been looking at the Scout and competitors for the best all around bike. My grandfather bought a new Scout and rode it from Michigan to L.A. in 1914, a hundred year legacy ride sounded better and better. I got the last Indian Red 2016 Scout from Smokin' Joe's in Caledonia, MI, .99 percent interest? Couldn't pass it up. Flat out Best thing I've ever purchased in my life! I was first ride nervous, 2 trips around Joe's and I hit the road. 10 miles, felt good, 20 and I felt safe to do rush hour in the city. By the end of the night, I had taken it on dirt, loose sand and rode 'til I was cold and sore. Next, wintery mix on smooth pavement, plenty of rain and sleet. Gently slid her sideways with both brakes locked, no issues! I feel near 100% after 100 miles. Incredible. My Harley friends told me immediately that it was small, I'd want a bigger bike. Maybe someday. It's called a Scout for a reason, while the cushy "half cars" are headed for a destination, you're already there finding a place to eat, drink and crash for the night. She acts like a mid to light cruiser but I can throw her around like a dirt bike. The factory windshield is perfect, just enough wind in your teeth. She's got that rattle like an American V - twin but the sexy sound of a Euro bike, water cooling makes this happen and makes her durable. You can imagine all the Scout riders in the past having exactly the same feeling, all I want now are mid pegs so I can stand up! She looks like a custom straight from the showroom. You go out at night and sit on her in the garage. This bike is the cure for everything, a permanent grin that won't go away. Go ahead and buy a bigger bike if you have to have one, everybody else, do yourself a favor, buy this girl! And then there's the way Indian throws free parties at Sturgis and plenty of other places, can't wait.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cruiser Bought my scout 60 back in Sep. and have almost 6000 mi on it so far. I wanted a bike WITHOUT all the modern junk on it (traction control, ride modes, etc). I wanted something like my 1974 Norton Commando. That also only had the basics. This is a wonderful place to start for customizing a bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Bike!! OMG! Traded my Triumph Speedmaster (rode for 11 years) for the Indian Scout. When I set my eyes on the bike, it was love at first sight. The balance is great. Handles beautifully. I have rode my scout more in the 2 + months I have had it than my Triumph for the past year. I got the V & H pipes that roar perfectly. I am 60 yrs old and thought my bike days were almost over. Not at all!! My husband is 70, and he also bought a scout. And living in Florida is certainly a plus for riding. Really, really love the bike, as I tell my husband constantly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and fast Wife and I bought bikes a month ago. Her a Scout 60 and me Victory Octane. Love both bikes. The scout is what a modern cruiser should be. Light, fast and noticeable. It definitely makes people look when you pass by. Will recommend this bike to all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprising amount of power and very smooth I bought this to replace an 883 Sportster as a second bike and for my girlfriend to ride. It's by far the best "entry level" cruiser I've owned. Other than the 883 Sportster I've also owned a Honda Shadow 750 Spirit. The Scout has a smoother, more powerful engine than both. It's also better balanced and handles better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Raw! This is my 1st bike and I believe it to be a well balanced, fun, fast and overall solid motorcycle. The height of the seat was perfect for my size (5'7") and I couldn't ask for a more comfortable ride. Like most new bikes, you will want to upgrade some of the standard features. I added custom pipes, floor boards, LED headlamp and soon will replace the grips. Thank you Indian for giving me a great bike to ride along side my husbands Victory!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike great store great support Dec 21 2016 bought my Indian Scout Sixty, love it. Wish it had a better kick stand. Some other brands their can even locks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ride Everything I expected from Indian and the styling is perfect
Date published: 2017-02-22
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good bike, can't customise I bought this bike, because I love the style of the engine. Now that I have it, I see you can really only put Indian parts on it. That sucks. Instead of Indian making it standard that put a lot of proprietary parts on it. (I.e. the bar mounts. The top of the bar mounts holds the Speedo, so no risers. As for the bars. 1 inch bars that step down to 7/8 for the grips. So new bars = new handle controls, or spacers in the stock risers.) Would be an amazing bike, if you could easily make it yours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this motorcycle The 2016 Indian Scout Sixty is my first motorcycle. I began riding in December 2016 and got my license in February 2017. I was not brand specific in my search, I wanted a bike that fit. Every thing about the bike is a great fit. Smooth ride, and easy to handle. It's a bike with plenty of power for an experienced rider, and easy handling for a new rider like me. My only disappointment is the heat generated from the pipes. Some suggested it's a design issue, others say my legs should be spread further. The pipes can be replaced or wrapped, and I haven't decided what I will do. All around the motorcycle is top notch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Bike ! Great overall bike for the money, was looking to by a Harley. Hadn't thought Indian was an option . So I was at a Polaris Dealership to see a Harley Sportster 48 tricked out ... needless to say I saw all the amazing Indians on the showroom floor. So like many others I suspect I went home that night and researched quite a bit . I looked up Indian motorcycles , their history , who's owned them and pretty much every motor and bike ever made . When I was done researching I was a complete fan of Indian , trials, ups, downs, everything ... they've really hung in there . I love my new scout !!!

2022 Scout Black Metallic is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 1090.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spunky and Responsive Very easy to handle, responsive and fast. Shifts well. I like to hear the engine when I shift, and it was too quiet. I burnt my leg on the pipes, so I would change them. I didn’t like that the signal lights were together on the same side. Fit and Finish was good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike I bought the bike in May, I traveled 2700 km, it's fantastic, manageable and with a gritty engine. The only flaw is the front brake a little weak for the performance it has. The bike consumes little, on average 21km / liter. I'm glad I bought it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade on seat. Suspension. Had a blast. Been training on a Harley sportster 1200 and the difference is night and day. I appreciate Harley’s “clunk” of the shifter, rattle of the engine, but the Indian shines on the suspension and smooth ride.10 times better than the sportsters including the iron 883. the scout had great throttle response, and nice upgrade on the new seats. stylistically it always wins but I also enjoyed the dash display. Visiting the demo truck at Ukes Harley at the end of the month to get another feel for what I’m buying next year, but right now it’s Indian. Appreciate the demo.r

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality and performance I bought my Chieftain in 2017 I am very pleased with my purchase. However I have not been able to put many miles on the bike. My wife has some serious health issues and the opportunity to ride in minimal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Liked the bike - hated the foot controls Rode the bike during a test ride event I attended for the purpose of testing the FTR1200. Not really my cup of tea: too low, too stretched out, tires too fat & the foot controls are ridiculous. Again, not my cup of tea. Now the FTR1200, on the other hand........

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Scout demo rides 7-26-19 1. 9:30 Ride – Red Scout 60 – Ride comfort was good, but the bike was weak on power. Also had some trouble shifting. Got stuck winding up in neutral on my way from 1st to 2nd twice. Not the bike for me. 2. Scout - Thunder black. Great power, good comfort on riding position – grips were a little bit of a reach – I was told i could get handle bar grips 2” closer for around $200 + one hour labor. Bike was also very good on ride harshness comfort on road bumps. I liked it a lot. Rode it again later. I did notice that the hot pipe is right next to my right boot heel, actually burning the leather. This is probably the show stopper. I would buy a Scout except for this flaw. 3. Rode another Scout – this one tricked up more like a luxury bike, foot boards, windshield. Same ride comments, good power, a bike my size, but I don’t like the boards. 4. Re-ride on the thunder black Scout. I don’t like the gear indicator. Not near as good as on a BMW. When clutch is engaged no gear shows up. 5. Rode a Bobber. I hated the mirrors – attached to the ends of the grips, not easy to hang a helmet. The power was great, but the harshness was unbearable. Hard as a rock. A hard tail. Also the grips are way forward so I had to lean way up, my torso no longer vertical. 6. Rode the Chieftain Limited – Ruby metallic – no good, big, heavy, sluggish, too big for me. The heel shifter was nice. This was a great demo event. Thanks so much to Polaris / Indian for arranging this. Everyone there from corp and from the Bair's Motorsports dealer was very friendly and helpful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Fun Fun I took my Chieftain in for service and did not know they were having a Demo Day. Well I was going to hang around anyway so why not ride. First I took out a Scout and it was so light and well balanced. Fun is the way to describe this machine. Well suited for bopping around town. Enough power for medium road trips I think. Mya have to add one to the stable

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun to ride Fun to ride to work. Day trips on the back roads. The ride was stiff, but that is the nature of the back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great power To be fair I own Roadmaster and love it!!! I tried out a scout for kicks as my brother tried out a cheiftan. I loved the power of the scout, but really nothing else. Vibrations wernt bad but not real goodeither. I didn't like the balance of the bike either I thought with it so light it would handle fantastic , but I was wrong. Felt clumsy tome.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attention to detail! Ended up purchasing a 2016 Indian Scout for my wife. She loves the way it turns effortlessly & the balance offs great! I having many bikes over the years was very pleased with the details that were put into the design & layout of the controls. You always have the bad with the good though. Problem that I have & anyone over 5'8" will have is the seat. Very poor design for the taller riders. With that said I highly recommend this bike!
Date published: 2019-07-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by from overall good Nice comfortable ride. I would include a rear seat/ pegs as standard.
Date published: 2019-07-13
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable I found this bike to be uncomfortable to ride. It was extremely low to the ground and had me sitting so far forward that all my weight was on my arms on the handlebars. I will admit that it handled well and went around corners well but it was underpowered.
Date published: 2019-07-12
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bar hopper or around town bike - looks good! I don't currently own an Indian but was doing demo rides. Its a great way to ride and compare. I prefer a bigger bike but the Scout is a great ride with nice pick up and smooth broad band power.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Felt Like a Toy I test rode this bike today. I was expecting something akin to a sportster, since that’s what the scout was made to answer. I picked this bike up off the stand and was shocked by how light it was! Being a 5’3” chick that was kinda cool. That’s where the good part ends. It just... felt like a cheap toy. Because it was so light, I was wanting for leverage in the turns. I come from a Dyna, so I’m used to a heavy bike so maybe there’s that.
Date published: 2019-06-22
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good looking Good accélération, but felt vibration on the handlebar where riding. Suspension was a little stif, but I gués it is the price to pay for a low rider.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice cruiser. I took the Scout for a demo ride. I’m a sport bike rider but honestly really enjoyed the bike. It was comfortable yet had plenty of power and very easy to ride

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bike..easy off, easy on! I rode a Scout and a Scout Bobber at recent Demo Days In Charleston illinois. It was a really nice riding experience. I first rode the Bobber and was not comfortable on it at all. But I really liked the ease of the way it shifted. So, I next rode the Scout. I was much more comfortable on it and l enjoyed the ride a lot. The experience was a good one for me even though I am not sure the Scout is the right bike for me at this time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Scout! Demo ride in Laconia: I've always loved the design of the Indian machines, the Scout and Bobber have great styling lines, Scout has a rich blue tank color, tan seats, chrome pipes, great looking machines. Comfortable setup, soft seat and gripping the bars seemed like a perfect fit to my body, easy to hop on and ride away. Nice engine sounds, great power though the gears, sporty, it was a really fun ride. I found myself saying, “I really like this bike” multiple times, it’s a machine that stood out as a one I'd like to get. (5 stars for ditching the group ride demo setup!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to ride I bought my bike at the beginning of March. I’m still waiting on patty’s to get it modified to my “perfect” fit but love it nevertheless! I have about 700 miles on it now. I’m a shorter female and the scout Bobber gots me perfect. I bought a different seat to push me forward just slightly and will eventually have baby aps put on to help me sit up straight. I wish it wasn’t taking so long for the parts to come in but I am sure it will be well worth the wait. I am switching to a stage one this week, which will help with the noise. I think the stock pipes are pretty quiet but I don’t need to be obnoxiously loud either. I had been riding my husband’s 2020 sportster. I'm absolutely in love and being that I can put about 3 saddlebags (not from Indian) from Endscuio or something like that, a fairing that fits the bike, floorboards, 10 inch apes and practically make it a low level touring bike is absolutely amazing! Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor construction I purchased new motorcycles in the past from different manufacturers and they usually pay for A 500 mile service with no cost to the customer. I’m disappointed in this product a because it was not set up correctly from the time it left the suspension on the rear end of the pipe broke very well and feel that it was poorly manufactured. Additionally the front suspension rides equally as rough. Seems to be a bottom end product. For what you’re paying for I don’t believeYou’re getting the quality behind the name.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect This is my first motorcycle. I did a lot of research before picking my Scout Bobber 60. It had everything I was looking for in a bike. Looks, power, blacked out styling, and a manageable weight. I was shocked at how well the bike handles the first time I took it out. With as much power as this bike has I can only imagine it’s big brothers sheer force. I think this is a great bike, I have to be careful as it is most definitely a bike that I wont get tired of once I’m more comfortable on two wheels. 5 stars for sure I am thrilled with my purchase!

Ive ordered replacement shocks to make the bumps a little more bearable. Other than that the bike has decent power and handles similar to a sport bike. Very impressed. Ill be picking up a scout sixty this weekend while the bobber gets serviced. Can never have too many bikes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My own Scout Bobber 60 This motorcycle may have been the best purchase I've ever made. For a young, 5'6" female this fits me perfectly. As far as stock model goes, its gorgeous - the only issue I have is the way I lean for the handles (short arms), which I'm fixing with adding longer ones soon. The amount of power in this scout bobber 60 is perfect for both cruising and freeway riding, the handling is smooth, and I can get to around 130 miles before my gas light's on. This bike is also has its own personality with the way it stands out on the road, the blue slate paint is so subtle and yet so bold. I absolutely love my ride and the good name it stands behind, Indian.

Grew up around Harley’s, so I still love them but like I said the Scout Bobber is for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best cruiser on the market from the comfort of the sitting position to the handling on back country roads the dark horse is amazing. You can ride for hours without feeling wore down. The styling makes this bike stand out. The matte black finish with a suebdued silver warbonnet on the tanks makes a bold statement. The power of engine is completely incredible. The exhaust is probably the best sounding stock exhaust I have heard on a bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my bike!!! Have had my bike for about a month. Have just over 1100 miles with no problems. This replaced my Harley that I rode almost everyday. I am sold on Indian have four other bikes but hardly ride them now. With my Harley I would switch between my bikes weekly. I just can get off this bike. The only thing that I would say is the seat takes a few miles before it is broke in. Would recommend this bike to anyone looking to change from the HD brand. This bike has power in every gear. With the HD would have shift down to pass don't have to do anything but roll back on the throttle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Endless Power I bought the Dark Horse back in May. Great power. Smooth ride. Only two minor issues. Wish it had slightly better throttle response. The bigger issue, still nothing major. Wish the air box would not stick so far out. Makes for shifting a little awkward. Have to bend my foot in a little bit to shift, but you get use to it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the bike I purchased my bike in April... so far I love it! one of the biggest motorcycle investments I have ever made. super happy I did. the only thing I am disappointed in would be the fit and finish of the Blacked out shields on the exhaust. they do not fit properly and have scuffed up each other and the exhaust, working with Indian to fix...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from EH I BOUGHT MY BIKE IN MAY, THE KEY FOB DIED AND HAD TO BE REPROGRAMMED. THEN THE GAUGE HAD S MUCH CONDENSATION IN IT THAT POLARIS REPLACED IT. I HAVE ALL THE PERFORMANCE OPTIONS, EXHAUST, INTAKE, CAMS, AND OIL COOLER, AND MY 2013 VEGAS WAS STILL FASTER. ASIDE FROM THE FACT THAT I LOST A RACE TO A 2016 CORVETTE, I AM OVERALL SATISFIED WITH THIS BIKE. WILL I BUY ANOTHER INDIAN NO WILL I SELL THIS ONE PROBABLY NOT. IT IS GREAT FOR THE LONG HAUL, SETTING CRUISE AT 100 MPH REGULARLY IS NICE. AND MY BIKE CURRENTLY HAS 7400 MI. ON IT

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THIS BIKE I purchased the Dark Horse in July and I can't stay off of it!! The look and feel of the Dark Horse are second to none. I'm not a windshield and bagger type so I didn't go for the Chieftain Dark Horse. I get all kind of complements on it even when I ride with the Harley guys.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great power and comfort love the bike bought it one year ago have twenty thousand miles on her already. been enjoying every moment riding my dark horse. to go back to a Harley at this point don't make much sense. I only have two small issues with the bike like many Indian riders agree. the rear belt squeal and the slight piston slap around 2100 rpms besides that the bike is a work horse best v twin built ever...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very smooth machine I've had my Darhorse for about a year now and it gets better with every ride. A little weak on power until she got stretched out and I would like to see more faring options avail...but when you ride a one of a kind type of machine, it takes awhile for the market to catch up to it. Very happy with my bike.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bike for the Money I bought a 2016 Dark Horse two weeks ago and have been impressed with it so far. I do have the windshield, saddle bags , engine guard and extra driving lights installed that almost make it a Vintage. It has great power and torque in all gear ranges and the engine is smooth at all speeds. Handling surprised me for how heavy it is and alludes confidence when riding. Fit and finish is good, but the Vintage and Springfield appear to be built better (some rattles on larger bumps). I plan to keep this a long time and look forward to many years of great rides.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dark Horse I bought this March 2015 when they first came out. Amazing bike I think for Bar Hopping or single riding around town. I hate the rear Fox Shock, when my wife rides, it makes the bike feel like a slinky in turns. I've been riding (by myself and with my wife, 25 mph and on small bumps the bike bottoms out. Bike has no weight on it and I'm a small guy 5'4" 170lbs wife is smaller then I am. Because of the way the shock is set up you need a special adjuster wrench and a jack which I don't have just to adjust the shock, Sucks. The bike is 2" longer then the Classic, Chieftain and Roadmaster. Because of the length I have a hard time keeping speed in turns and my motions are choppy. This bike will cook your legs to "Well Done". Love this bike but want to get rid of it in a bad way. My wife hates riding on this bike, it makes her sick and dizzy. I'm a very conservative rider especially when my wife is riding because it's hard to control with a passenger. Accessories are WAY over priced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from old school looks very happy with my decision to buy an indian. I almost have to lay the bike down before I scrape the floorboards, lots of lean angle. sounds as good as it looks. chicks dig it. plenty of smooth power to rocket down the road.

2022 Indian Springfield Maroon Metallic / Crimson Metallic is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 369.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made, fun to ride, difficult to clean. Purchased in June 2017, I had forgotten how much fun it is to ride a motorcycle. The Indian is expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for! It is well made, sound, classic looking and has yet to let me down when I want to ride. It is fairly good on fuel but could be better! I am 6' and the stock windshield could be a few inches taller. Overall, I would recommend this model!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A new experiance I bought a 2017 Springfield last October and though I haven't put a lot of miles on it yet, That will come. My Indian Springfield is an amazing bike with great comfort, speed when you need it and Looks amazing. It has perfect lines and is an impressive bike. I love the color red which enhances the bike. I have had so many compliments on my bike for a stock bike. There are many options I could add to the Springfield to make it my own style without changing the beauty of the bike. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Springfield armory I traded up my vintage for the Springfield in March and I am here to tell you...best move I ever made. I love this bike! The vintage was nice but this Springfield just brings things to a whole different level. We already have over 6000 miles on her and I don't have any plans to slow down any time soon. If you have a vintage right now all I can say is take the next move up. You won't regret it trust me. Thanks Polaris/Indian. Excellent job,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plenty of power ,handles great, good features. I like the bike , however I am unhappy with the engine and transmission noise. it has more than any of the eight bikes I have owned. My dealer says this is normal , some bikes are worse than others . I also don`t like the noise the engine makes on shut down

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Motorcycle! I bought a 2017 Springfield on 3/21/17. I have 7500 miles on it already. I have ridden over 1 Million miles and owned all kinds of bikes over the years. I love this motorcycle. It is so comfortable, handles like a skateboard even though it is 850 lbs., brakes are outstanding, and the torque is addicting. Truly an amazing motorcycle that is absolutely beautiful. It turns a lot of heads and has is elegant for a bagger.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2017 Indian Motorcycle Constructive Criticism! 2017 Indian Springfield and at msrp $22,099 I ran into a couple of issues less than 500 miles on the bike. 1) Engine error code gear shift indicator came on during a regular ride (along with engine light that would not shut off-annoying) 2) recently as in yesterday it would not start or turn over all engine indicator lights came on and the cruise control light would blink, shift indicator would not show gear, come on this a new bike, missed a bike event. These things should be made known to new potential customers and Indian-please take this as constructive criticism! Please fix these bugs! Nice bikes but sad if they don't start. I don't wan't an expensive paper weight. What will happen after my warranty expires? I had this bike less than 2 months, I love the bike, but it is sad if I can not ride it. Customer service is great, but these issues need to be addressed! I believe in the Indian brand and hopefully all the bugs will be ironed out soon!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Concerned I bought the blue and silver sapphire bike Springfield on February 25th. The temp got up to 49 degrees yesterday and I decided to run to the local deli and grab a couple sandwiches. Took a slow right hand turn and the engine light comes on with only 22 miles on the bike. I bought the bike to have ready for spring. I contacted the dealership and they have to see it to diagnose the problem. Its cold again and I'm unable to ride it in. They can transport it for $50 fee. I already paid $100 for another dealer to deliver so that it would be ready to go. Seems my first trip over 10 miles will be on a nice day to see what's wrong. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from There is nothing to change. I turned in a Dark Horse for this bike, at the dealer. I am not riding to Strugis every year. Never had a bike with bags of any kind. Always been a back pack guy. This is a solid enjoyable bike. I can not imagine ever selling it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nimble, fast, and capable! I've only ridden my Springfield 100km so far and it's still in its break in period, but I'm already impressed. It turns easily, and feels lighter than my old VTX 1800, even though it wwighs about 30 lbs more. It has loads of torque, and I can still only use 1/3 of the throttle. I'm looking forward to discovering the power that comes from the 2200 rpm and up range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Medium Range Cruiser/Tourer I purchased the 2017 Indian Springfield and took delivery on 1/11/17 (The Day and Month may Be Coincidence) and have not looked back. This is my 1st Motorcycle Purchase ever and after driving everything by every Manufacturer in this class nothing comes close to the Power, Styling, and Versatility; Not to mention the Cadillac Ride! I've logged over 1,000 miles in a month in the dead of Winter in Southeastern Pennsylvania and am considering riding it to Florida for Bike Week with full confidence it'll handle the long haul with any of The Big Boys! Thanks Indian!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bike This is my third new Indian since 2014. The quality and attention to detail is second to none on the Springfield. The bike handles great and feels much lighter than it actually is. The maroon and gray color combination is gorgeous. My dealer in Elizabethtown, PA is great and a joy to do business with. I'm looking forward to do some serious touring on the Springfield this summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nimble, quick and comfortable The bike is extremely maneuverable. She handles like a dream....not heavy which is amazing as she's a big bike. It has plenty of torque whenever needed and will leave many in the dust if called upon to accelerate. The suspension is very comfortable, meaning no surprising jolts to you when going over bumps. The lines of the bike are very easy on the eye. I often find myself enjoying its' design while parked in my garage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fulfilling a dream! I have day dreamed of owning an Indian for more years than I can remember. When the thunderstroke 111 was introduced I followed the media and Web reviews closely. Then the line up introduced at Sturgis had me hooked. The next step was to wait for a dealership to open in my state, Maine. in June of 2014 a dealership opened in Maine. I bought a chieftain that week. I love motorcycles and riding. This bike exceeded my expectations.style handling and power. Not a single regret. Just ride one, you'll be hooked.

I was a little nervous buying a first model year new bike but, this motorcycle has turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's beautiful, powerful and super fun to ride. I get compliments and head turns where ever I go. It is without a doubt the best bike I've ever owned or ridden. Indian may have made a mistake in making my bike so perfect as I may never want to buy another. My Chieftain is the best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turning Heads I purchased this bike in June 2017 and no words can explain my satisfaction with this superb machine. Turning heads on the highway and answering many questions of curious motorists at every stop is unavoidable. The nostalgic look mixed with modern touches sets this bike apart from others immediately, everyone knows is an Indian. The engine delivers sustained horse power for any trip. Additionally, the rapid throttle response is undeniably reliable. The stock pipes provide a distinct sound that comes handy when dealing with distracted drivers inside city streets. The dash display is easy to read during periods of high sunlight or poring rain and helps me keep my eyes scanning the road. Both seats are comfortable, just add the passenger and rider back rest for more comfort. The rider seat height delivers solid foot on ground for better control and balance. The saddlebags are spacious to carry all my gear for a 4 day trip. Finally, the Indian logo on the tank and the headdress are the best visual expression of the brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Poor finish This is my 4th season on the bike it has 30000 km on it now. Love the ride and power but the paint and chrome seems poor quality. The kick stand chrome started peeling almost as soon as I got it. Paint seems to sctatch and show swirls very easily. The wind shield and front fairinghave developed lots of rattles and annoying noises. I would be nice to have a bigger dealer network for support on long trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bike I've ever owned! I LOVE this bike. Only had a couple things that were an issue and they were fixed. i.e.- I'm short, so added kickstand extension and had some issues with key fob but entering my "code" remedied the problem. Also, heat from motor broiling my thigh and added a heat shield. I added front lowers to highway bars and the added weight is top heavy, making slow maneuvers a challenge but all else, is awesome! I love it!!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Top of the line Just turned over 20000 miles on my 2015 Chieftain. The smile is still on my face. Polaris has hit it out of the park with Indian motorcycle. Get the word out people. This bike has it all. Especially envy from the "other" brand of American motorcycle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bike but... I love the bike. The looks are great and the ride is smooth. The only issue I have is that I took possession of the bike and a week and three days later it's back in the repair shop. I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

2022 Chieftain Dark Horse Black Smoke is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 412.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome power I just attended the Indian motorcycle Demo ride in my area and chose the Chieftain Dark Horse. I was amazed by the power and throttle response especially in Sport mode.I took the bike through some twisty's and the handling was great. The adjustable electric windscreen is also a good added feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2019 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse (Bronze Smoke) Bought the is bike in Sep 2018 and now have a little over 8,000 miles on it. Time for a review. On the day of purchase I did back to back test rides of a 2019 HD Street Glide Special and a 2019 Chieftain Limited. Both great bikes and both have pros and cons but in the end I chose the Chieftain. Things I like: Features - The Chieftain has led lighting all around and I really like the adjustable windshield and locking saddle bags. I do like the three ride modes but find myself typically riding in "Standard" mode. I appreciate the rear cylinder deactivation feature but have yet to use it. Even living here in Arizona I don't find engine heat to be an issue. I really like the ride command. It's intuitive, easy to use and has all the info I'll ever need. The tire pressure monitoring system is very nice to have. The ride - The bike rides and handles great. The suspension and ride quality was a big factor for me when choosing between the Chieftain and Street Glide. The Indian was just better. I also found the ergonomics better. The Indian fits me well. For being a heavy bike it sure does handle well. Feels light and nimble. Style - Of course this is subjective but I really like the new style. Yes, it looks more like an HD but I'm okay with that as I've always liked Street Glides. And I hate to say it but I've never liked the fairing, bags and big fenders on the older Indians. Guess I'm not nostalgic. I just don't like the "dated" look. Performance - The 111 is fine for me and I like that the power is down low. Being bagger I rarely push the RPM's that high anyway. Short shifting is pretty much how I ride. Would I like more power? Of course. I've considered the stage 3 kit but to be honest don't trust the dealership to install it correctly. Right now the bike doesn't have any issues and I'd like to keep it that way. I do have stage 1 installed (Indian Performance Air Intake and Rinehart exhaust). The Rineharts sound great. Things I don't like or wish were better and things I fixed: My biggest complaint is the dealership network and availability of parts and add-ons. The HD dealerships near me seem to be well organized and have everything you can think of to add on to your bike. Not so with Indian. Lots of things aren't available and when they are they're not in stock and need to be ordered. As mentioned above I would like to add stage 2 or 3 but just don't trust them to do it correctly. I did not have that feeling with HD. With every bike I've owned my very first purchase was touch-up paint for the inevitable rock chip in the fender, fairing and bags. Can I get that for my Bronze Smoke bike? Nope, not yet. Have contacted Polaris multiple times and they don't have it yet and they won't provide the paint code for proprietary reasons. It's a small thing but I found it to be odd and a little annoying. I would also like some lower wind deflectors but those aren't available yet either, at least not by Indian. While I like the led lighting I don't like the colored lenses on the front and rear signals. I wish they were clear or smoked. I figured that would be an easy upgrade but I'm having a hard time finding them. This could be on me. I also wish the front signals were dual purpose, turn signals and running lights. There may be after market options for this already but I'm not able to find them. A couple things I had to change - The stock windshield wasn't working for me so I upgraded to the 13.7 Indian Flare windshield which is a nice improvement. I've heard good things about the Rogue seat and in the beginning I liked it. I expected it get even better after some time breaking it in but that wasn't the case. Surprisingly it got worse and after 7K miles I replaced it with an Ultimate seat. The Ultimate seat sits me a little higher but it's way more comfortable. Big difference. Also, the Ultimate seat and backrest combo was pretty much the same price as the Rogue backrest and bracket alone. Getting the Ultimate was a no-brainer. The prices of Indian accessories is a little crazy. So in summary, the things I don't like are pretty small complaints and pale in comparison to the things I like about the 2019 Chieftain Dark Horse. The bike itself is great and I hope it proves to be reliable over the years to come. My other hope is that the after market and dealership network continues to improve. For the bike, I give it five stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! I test fringe this bike today with a 116 big bore slip on stage 1 kit. It had increased speed and acceleration from the base model and was a dream to drive. The ride was smooth, the cornering was natural and fluid, gear shifting was smooth and very forgiving, and it was very easy to find neutral. The touch screen system was also very easy to use, understand, and contained simple functionality when driving.

I was devastated when I heard that Polaris was no longer going to manufacture the victory motorcycle. After my test drive on a new Indian, my faith has been restored. I am anxiously anticipating the purchase of my new Springfield dark horse. Keep up the good work Polaris, “love you long time” :0

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 116...wow! I road a Chieftain Dark Horse with the 116 TS and I am extremely impressed. I ride a Springfield and ride it aggressively. I've stayed away from fairings but frankly I didn't even notice it except for the awesome tunes and Ride Command features. Well done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't plan to, but bought one. Rode in on a Street Glide, rode out on a Chieftain Dark Horse. Unbelievable torque, same weight bike but the balance and handling was improved exponentially. Features galore, only things I plan on improving are the grips and the muffler could be louder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved the power Loved the power, the riding position was very good. The only thing I would change would be the windshield, I would put a flip shield on it and waybe 1" taller but thats just for my size. It had the up graded stereo that if I had them put it on the bike ,I would have them take it right off, It was bad . My factory stereo on my cross country sounds way better

Handled well, cornered, and TONS of power with the upgrades. Had 14" apes and was the perfect height, and the adjustable windshield is a huge benefit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2017 Chieftain Ltd- great bike, not perfect Owned my Chieftain Limited since May of 2017. Best bike I've owned yet. Perfect? No, but what bike is. Likes; Power, Ride, Looks, Ergonomics, Ride Command, Power Windshield, Key FOB lock/unlock, Big Roomy Saddlebags. Can go with a 116 kit! Dislikes; Seat- way too uncomfortable after 75/100 miles (big annoy), Odd Oil Level Dipstick- needs a special tool to check/fill oil (minor annoy), Loud Honk when activating alarm system (minor annoy), Rear Shock- Air fill valve placement (minor annoy) Fun bike to ride and cruise with my lady. Just took my 1st thousand mile long ride on my Limited and it performed great. More aftermarket performance parts and accessories available coming each month it seems, which is great. Get a tuner to bring out more power and loose the heat. Buy it and welcome to the Tribe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At Long Last It took many years and 19 motorcycles to finally get the bike I have dreamed of (but didn't know I wanted). I purchased my Chieftain Limited from Hernley's Polaris in Elizabethtown, PA a little more than a month ago and I have to say that I finally have found a bike that fits all my needs. It's beautiful to look at, it sounds great stock, it's insanely comfortable, has plenty of power, handles and rides like a dream, and it's a home-run with my wife in terms of comfort. My only regret is that I didn't discover cruiser/bagger bikes until now. Initially, I thought I wanted a Street Glide and a good friend said I should try this before I decided. I owe him a lot because I never looked back. Here's to great decisions!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Live to Ride Bought my 2017 Chieftain Limited in June of the same year. Gotta say, I have been riding most of my life and have never slung my leg over a finer machine. We took it through the challenge of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Tail of the Dragon and the bike performed like a real athlete. GPS, power windshield, AM/FM/Weather/Bluetooth, cruise control, power to spare, this bike has it ALL. Love it so much we are praying to be picking up my wife's Chief Vintage this afternoon. Indian Motorcycle, I want to thank you for coming a back with vengeance. My only regret was not getting the Stage 2 installed at purchase. Planning on getting that done in the spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent all round bike I have been wanting a bagger for a couple years now. Looked at some other bikes but they just didn't have what I wanted until I laid my eyes upon the Chieftain Limited and I fell in love immediately. I love the new front end and all the great creature comforts. Hammering down the the big road or in town cruising, this bike does it all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Limited caught my eye, so I had to buy! I originally bought the Indian Chieftain in 2015. after riding Harley Davidson since 2006, I had to give the originator a try. The Indian is superior in engineering and it handles like the import sport bikes that I use to ride as a young man. With the new GPS System and 100 watt stereo, I had to go down and take a look. The 2017 Limited is absolutely amazing. I had to ride her with that gorgeous nineteen inch front rim. She handles like a dream, after I said to myself that she had to ride well...she's an Indian. Of course I added all of the bells and whistles. Stage 1 air cleaner, pipes, and stage 2 cams! I added floorboards for my lady and kept the nice backrest from my 2015. She is a fantastic looking and handling motorcycle. My old Chieftain held her value too. I received a fair offer, and another fifteen hundred dollars for my trade, and I walked out the owner of the Limited. Please don't take my word for it, go to your local dealer and take a look, or better yet, ride an Indian. Once you do, you will never ride anything else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice It has nice features. Comfortable ride. Sound needs improvement. Not as stable at hi speeds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tourer Excellent power and handling. Had to add rocker shift and swap out the grips and seat (the standard factory seat is more comfortable than the custom seat my model came with). Love the options, though the blue tooth won't work with any model ipod (I don't have an ipone and rely on an ipod for my music) though the literature says otherwise. However, the bike is excellent, with both smooth throttle response and a really cush suspension. I ride with my wife, so comfort is king, and this bike delivers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Happy I bought this bike about a month ago and already have just under 3,000km.Only have 2 minor suggestions .1: Put the crash guards in front of the front cowling to protect them and 2: put an engine temperature gauge of the bike. Everything else is top notch. Could not be happier!!!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Paint finish is poor I am extremely disappointed with the lack of power that this trike has. I think I should have been warned that the trike kit robs all the power. Very sorry I purchased this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy So Far! I have only put on about 3100 miles so far, but I love this bike! No major issues other than the exhaust needing to be tightened constantly. Very smooth ride and plenty of power. Gets really good mileage, the tunes rock and it handles like a dream. The comfort is top notch, 400 mile days and I can still walk, I have major lower back issues and a 200 mile day was hard for me to handle before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Ride I bought it a little over a month ago and already have over 3000 miles on it. It's a comfortable ride for both the rider and the passenger.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect The stereo leaves much ro be desired. Reception for station is lowsy in many areas even though I don't live in a rural area and I was disappointed that I could no longer control my Pandora app when connected via bluetooth. Power is great and I love the ride modes. Overall, a great bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My third Indian, and the best one yet! A truly remarkable machine. I don’t think many bikes can compare to this level of quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best motorcycle yet! I have owned several motorcycles over the past 25 years, cruisers to sport bikes. This one has been one of the most unique and best. I am constantly getting compliments and looks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just a little upgrade I moved from a 111 Chieftain Limited to a 116 Roadmaster. Having a trunk and lowers again make long rides a lot easier. The 116 power helps too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of two bikes With the removable truck and lowers I have two bikes in one. Roadmaster for those long trips and chieftain when I feel like riding local.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good is now GREAT I was an early adopter buying a 2015 Roadmaster. It was a good bike but lacked some of the functions I was looking for. Fit and finish were not excellent. Fast forward to 2020. I just bought a factory demo 2018 with 4000 miles on it with the full new bike warranty. I am very impressed with the upgrades. The RideCommand is a huge improvement! The revamped hand controls work better and are easier to use. The fit and finish are improved - especially the paint job quality!!! My prior RM was trouble free and a very comfortable tour bike. I look forward to many happy and trouble free miles on the new RM. I have added the backrest which I consider a must. I added crash bar toe pegs which I prefer. I added the Flare windshield which for me offers a smoother and quieter ride, better ventilation and better visibility. I added the Kuryakyn heat deflectors. They help and don't cost much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Class Touring Bike I tested a few before I got here. Was excited the first time I took a Roadmaster for a test ride. Never been on one and only knew Indian from a distance. I really was just checking to see what was on the market before I chose. This bike had many features that made the bike perfect for me on long or short trips. I was impressed with the handling and look of the bike. I have owned a few different brands and knew right away I was going to enjoy owning this bike. Performance is more than most will need in regards to torque and speed, there always seemed to be more left in the tank as they say. Its a solid ride and easy to feel confident if you are moving up to a touring bike as I have experienced. I am glad I bought the bike and look forward to many miles of smiles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Bike of all time! As a daily rider, I ride everyday weather permitting. I have already put around 2k on this bike and enjoy it on long trips and around town. The new 116 motor pulls very strong. I have had some minor glitches with the Ride Command 2.0 electronics. It won't sync my contacts on my iphone 11. Also I hear a short burst of audio every time I crank the bike even if it's muted. I am really hoping this will be addressed in a forthcoming software update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love everything about my Roadmaster! This is the first bike I've owned Deb from the start has been nothing but a pleasure to ride! I've had people follow me for an hour just to find out what it is. And I've had a lot of Harley Owners telling me they're coming our way... my Roadmaster is the best bike I've ever owned. Thank you Polaris for bringing a great and beautiful motorcycle back!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great power and smooth ride This is an awesome bike, the only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the seat is very uncomfortable. I was told it would get better with time and it has so far but my Harley stock seat was perfect from the start.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected I have had the bike about 5 weeks now and couldn't be happier. Only 4100 km so far but the feel, handling are exceptional and always the center of attention when we stop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 16 states "round" trip This is the third Indian Roadmaster I've owned since 2015. What a bike! I got the second one for the GPS upgrade. This one, I purchased in early May because they finally put out the color scheme I was looking for (Icon). I immediately went on a road trip to see my oldest daughter and grandchildren, and my youngest daughter. In total, 16 States. What a ride. Smooth. Fast. Comfortable. Couldn't ask for more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 2019 Roadmaster - A Masterpiece. It's only been a little over 6 weeks but I think I've found the best bike I've ever ridden. Wind protection for both myself and passenger is as good or better than anything I have ever made miles on. And that includes 10 years and over 125,000 miles on Goldwings. The riding position for myself is easily the most comfortable I have found. The one negative is my bride and back seater isn't as comfortable as she was on the road sofa aka Goldwing. But we're working on adding accessories to hopefully address that. Happy wife, happy life, right? Been eyeing the Roadmaster since I first saw one in 2015. Looking forward to many miles on this magnificent machine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some good some bad The gps mapping feature is terrible, seems like old tech. I am still wondering why both mirrors are the 'objects are closer than they appear" type, I find this a bit frustrating. The seat is just ok, I would think a high end bike would have the newest tech and be very comfortable to ride, All that being said this is still a very nice ride! Get lots of compliments on the looks, and it is a beauty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it I bought this bike two months ago and am currently very happy with it. I got back into riding 2 years ago after 38 years off motorcycles. Before buying this bike I went through 2 Harleys (2010 Heritage Classic and 2016 Road Glide Ultra) before buying the Roadmaster. I wanted an Indian from the very first but settled for the Harleys. After being away from riding for so long I wanted to buy used initially but couldn’t find what I wanted in the used motorcycle market so I settled on the Heritage and after a while upgraded to the Road Glide. I never was satisfied with the Harleys. They were both good bikes, they just weren’t what I wanted. I finally “bit the bullet” and put down the money for a new bike and got what I wanted all along (Indian Roadmaster). I’m so happy that I did. The styling is unsurpassed while the ride is significantly better than either of the Harleys. Additionally, the Roadmaster is comparable in size and weight to the Road Glide but it has the feel getting off the stand and at low speed more like the Heritage (a 200 lb lighter bike). At highway speed it’s more comparable to the Road Glide but with significantly better rear suspension. My kidneys can really tell the difference.
