RIDE COMMAND+ is available on select 2020 and newer Indian Motorcycles with a 4" or 7" Display and cellular connectivity.
RIDE COMMAND+ is a subscription-based service. Upon purchase, your bike includes one year free of RIDE COMMAND+. At the end of the free trial, you must purchase a RIDE COMMAND+ subscription.
RIDE COMMAND+ offers the following features:
- Weather/Traffic Overlay: Takes the navigation experience to the next level with live traffic and weather data right on the navigation screen.
- Intuitive Destination Search: Improves the ability to search for destinations by providing more points of interest near the rider and gives address recommendations without the need to type the full address in the search box.
- Speed Limit Overlay: Gives riders the convenience of having visibility to the speed limit on the road that they are traveling right on the navigation screen during an active route. Note: Only available on motorcycles with the 7" Display.
- Bike Locator: Provides riders with an added sense of security by being able to see the location of your bike the last time it was turned on, right from the app or website.
- Bike Health: Allows rider to view key vehicle health information from the Indian Motorcycle App or website like odometer, fuel level, fuel range and tire pressure.
- Planned Ride Transfer from App/Web to Bike: Transfer planned rides and/or waypoints from the Indian Motorcycle App or website to the bike seamlessly without the use of a USB. Note: Planned route sync is only available on the 7" Display.
- Apple CarPlay®: Connect your iPhone® and a Bluetooth® headset to the 7” Display powered by RIDE COMMAND to have a seamless connected experience, with access to Apple apps.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I sync my Indian Motorcycle account to my vehicle?
To experience all of the RIDE COMMAND+ features, add your vehicle to your Garage by following the instructions in How to Add a Vehicle to Your Garage and then log in to your Indian Motorcycle account on your bike's display by following the steps below.
1. Turn on the display powered by RIDE COMMAND.
2. Open the badge panel by tapping on the Indian Motorcycle logo at the top of the screen and select ALL SETTINGS.
3. From the GENERAL tab, select RIDE COMMAND ACCOUNT.
4. Select ACCOUNT ID and enter the email used for your Indian Motorcycle account.

How can I tell if my vehicle has RIDE COMMAND+?
By logging in to your Indian Motorcycle account on the Indian Motorcycle website or app, and viewing Subscriptions under My Profile, you'll be able to see all RIDE COMMAND+ eligible models and their current status with the subscription service. View details by visiting the Subscriptions Page.
How do I start my RIDE COMMAND+ free trial?
If your motorcycle comes equipped with cellular connectivity or it is added as an accessory, you must perform a series of steps to unlock your free trial and begin accessing connected features.
For select 2020 or newer models with a RIDE COMMAND+ modem, you must:
1. Create or sign into your Indian Motorcycle account on the Indian Motorcycle app or RIDE COMMAND website.
2. Add your vehicle to the virtual Garage using your VIN.
3. Using the same account information, log into your account on the vehicle's in-dash display.
4. Once logged in, go to the Map/Navigation screen and select Map Layers.
5. Turn ON the Weather & Traffic feature.
For select 2025 or newer models with a RIDE COMMAND+ telecommunications unit (TCU), you must:
1. Download the Indian Motorcycle App.
2. Log into or create an Indian Motorcycle account.
3. Add your vehicle to the Garage using its VIN.
4. Perform a Proof of Possession process. To learn more, read Activating RIDE COMMAND+.
How do I renew RIDE COMMAND+?
By logging in to your Indian Motorcycle account on the Indian Motorcycle website or app, and viewing Subscriptions under My Profile, you'll be able to see all past, current and future subscriptions, payment information and more. View subscription details by visiting the Subscriptions Page.
How do I purchase RIDE COMMAND+ if my vehicle did not come with cellular connectivity?
A cellular connectivity package can be purchased as an accessory and installed on select motorcycles to unlock connected services and GPS navigation. A 4" or 7" Display is required to upgrade to RIDE COMMAND+.
For select 2020-2024 models without a RIDE COMMAND+ Modem, purchase part number 2884468 and contact your dealer for support.
For select 2025+ models without a RIDE COMMAND+, purchase part number 2891603 (Challenger/Pursuit), 2891605 (Chieftain/Roadmaster), or 2890869 (Scout) for navigation and connected services.

How do I download the latest software?
For vehicles with connectivity, accept the software install requests when the vehicle display prompts you to do so. If you do not use the OTA update, read Updating Software and Maps on the 2020+ 7" Display Powered by RIDE COMMAND or Updating Software and Maps on the 4" Display Powered by RIDE COMMAND for instructions.
I added my bike to my account, but I am not seeing vehicle health or location?
To confirm your vehicle is connected and able to send data:
- Confirm your privacy settings are all enabled. To check privacy settings, navigate to Settings > System Information, and then privacy settings to confirm all privacy settings are turned ON.
- Confirm your vehicle is an area with good cell coverage. To check cellular connection, navigate to Settings > System Information, and then the cell modem information page to confirm an RSSI signal greater than 30%.
