We are proud to present our Bobber theme bike to the Build a Legend contest. It is a nod to the post-war era of bikes which gave riders a chance to showcase their talents for engineering and machine work. The velocity stack jumping out from the tank is an example of what happens when creative engineering meets a down draft intake system. With the help of Z's Customs (Savage, MN), we stretched ourselves to integrate the speedometer, ignition switch and turn signals along with a custom LED light into the Headlight Bucket. Our bike received a killer custom paint job by Vivid Dragon (Phoenix, AZ). To accentuate the candy apple red paint, the frame was brought to life by a chrome-like mirror finish done by Precision Buffing (Elkhart, IN). The build detail was taken to another level by machining of billet aluminum parts added throughout. This artistry was completed by Die Rite (Elkhart, IN). The finishing touch is a hand tooled Indian Motorcycle® logo seat finished by our own, Casey Vermillion (Niles, MI).
One look at that leaned-forward tank, and you know this is a bike that got all the details right. The same masterful balance that conquered the Wall of Death, carried the Wrecking Crew to victory, and made the world's fastest Indian®. It's been years in the making, but the Indian Scout® is here.
