Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice extras good looking bike First ever Indian ride and I was totally impressed with handling . Great balance with plenty of power to spare!
Date published: 2019-04-26
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect bike for me! I'm 48 years old and this is my first motorcycle. Being new to riding, I wanted a bike that is easy to ride, but not so feable that I'd want to buy a new bike after a month. Feels like this bike has plenty of power, at least for what I want to do. For the past few days, I've just been riding around my neighborhood and an slowly expanding my travels. I am having so much fun! When I'm not riding, I'm wishing I was riding.
Date published: 2019-04-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really smooth and powerful I only rode for the demo, but was very impressed with how comfortable and powerful it was as-is as a stock bike.
Date published: 2019-04-22
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super nice I demo rode this motorcycle and was very impressed. Great power. Smooth ride
Date published: 2019-04-20
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great motorcycle! I purchased my bike at the end of 2018 & I'm so glad I did, it's a great motorcycle with a great ride.
Date published: 2019-04-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth like butter Took the Scout Sixty for a demo ride... What a fantastic bike. Incredibly comfortable, decent power, ridiculously smooth. Looks like there will be a Scout in my garage in the not too distant future.
Date published: 2019-04-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprizing! I rode this out of curiosity after riding the regular Scout and, Wow, that was crazy good! It road just as well as the regular Scout. The acceleration seemed to be the same, perhaps because the bike was lighter? The lighter weight made handling easier too. I found myself liking this ride more!
Date published: 2019-04-05
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous bike!!! I had been looking at getting back into riding and had been looking at some other bikes. I happened upon the Indian website and saw the Scout Sixty. It is just a wonderful looking bike and it is very comfortable. I added the saddle bags and windscreen and just love it. Don't let anyone tell you that it is underpowered. It is plenty powerful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I want a Scout Sixty Took a demo ride on a Scout Sixty at Daytona Bike Week and I can’t wait to get my own. I own a Scout now which I am keeping but the Sixty is a really fun bike. Maybe I’ll start collecting Scouts in all the different colors they come in.
Date published: 2019-03-28
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bike, once you accessorize I bought my Sixty in late 2016 and have over 7500 miles on it. I love the bike - it performs well and can be used for limited touring. My only beef is that I ended up having to upgrade several of the stock features - some may be fine with the bike as is, but I swapped out the following: Kenda tires for Michelin Commander IIs (essential upgrade - it makes a world of difference), OEM headlight for an LED, reduced reach handlebars just because I'm shorter than average, the Scout's torpedo tube mufflers for Crushers (this also is an essential upgrade, IMO), aftermarket saddlebags (a matter of taste and less pricey than Indian's), the Indian 1920 solo seat which looks awesome and is very comfortable for me, and an Aeromach heal shifter. So the great news is: its customizable/upgradable. The slight downside is that once you've gone down that route, you've got around $13K into it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent bike! I bought my Scout Sixty originally intending to just teach myself how to street ride, and eventually trade up. Now I do not see myself ever trading or selling my Scout Sixty. It was the perfect bike to teach myself on, it is BEAUTIFUL, easy to handle, and comfortable even for long rides. As a very short individual (5'0") riding was a little intimidating when I test rode Harley Sportser and Dyna models. On my Scout I have perfect confidence riding, even without any reduced reach parts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable ride rode this bike at the demo in Denton TX. it's comfortable and has a perfect weight and power but the front shock seemed too soft, and it was hard to keep my feet on the pegs with foward controls, better grip on the pegs or foot boards would lend themselves better to the location of the foot controls.
Date published: 2018-11-07
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong performer in its class Demo ride of Scout60 was impressive. Simple, straightforward, strong torque, easy to handle and fun! Perfect for around town and 100 mile rides, great look too. I was also impressed with the tightness of the engine...smooth, throaty but quiet sound. Personally I like it much better than Sportster. Ergos, lack of windscreen and bags make other models a better choice for long rides, but for its class its a real winner. Great value too. I imagine it will run forever. Nice job Indian!
Date published: 2018-11-04
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Timeless connection to the heritage of motorcycles I thought this was (as requested) a review of my test ride, so I've only had about an hour of seat time with this bike. I was impressed. Beautiful, as is the whole Indian lineup. I'd really recommend riding in the Indian promo tour; the ride was surprisingly long, and not slow or boring. Thanks, Indian!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I didn’t expect it to be this good of a bike! I went on a test ride and was really surprised how good the bike was!! It had very good driving matters, excellence acceleration, low vibration- I’d say smooth for a V twin and it’s the Scout 60 their “starter bike”. I was impressed!! The only thing that was unusual is the front end got a little light at the higher speeds which didn’t give full confidence! I miss the techometer as you can’t see the digital tech going into the sun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from super bike geart bike ive been riding hds for over 45 years and iam very impressed with scout
Date published: 2018-10-08
Rated 4 out of 5 by from fun to ride It was a fun bike to ride. The riding position was a bit uncomfortable for me. Handlebars and foot pegs a bit futher out than I prefer. Plenty of power and go. Braking was excellent, turning radius was good and overall agility of bike was good. Speedo was easy to read, wish they would have put fuel gauge or fuel remaining in toggle information.
Date published: 2018-10-07
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good handling and smooth power Took one out on a demo ride and really enjoyed it. Smooth power and good handling a great bike for using around town.
Date published: 2018-10-06
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't beat the price and runs great I got my driver's license right before going to demo day. This was the 1st bike I rode. For the day i ended up going on 7 rides. By the end of the day this was my favorite being a new rider. Already got one on reserve. The customer service at Indian Motorcycle Kansas City is the best. Thanks to Blake and his crew I will be buying a Scout60 October 15th.

Date published: 2018-09-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This bike is a perfect fit! If you want a bike, but don't want a large heavy one with fairings and all that stuff this is the bike for you. It has all the power that you will expect and then some. It has smooth power and handles very well.
Date published: 2018-08-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice bike This bike is not for me. Uncomfortable, no power. My back hurt on even the little ride we did.

Scout
Desde $11,999 Precio de venta sugerido por el fabricante en EE. UU.
2019 Indian Scout Indian Motorcycle Red / Thunder Black (ABS) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 1071.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a joy! I have had my scout for a little over a month now. Put about 800+ miles on. I love my bike. Think I need the extended reach seat to be a little more comfortable on longer rides but it is a joy to ride. Every where I go people stop and admire it. They put their kids next to it and take pictures. It sure is an eye catcher.
Date published: 2020-05-30
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the bike, rides like a dream I've had the bike for a month now. It is a very well built machine, smooth acceleration and plenty of power. Comfortable and great handling. EFI has a light surge at constant speed, but great for most riding.
Date published: 2020-05-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for short trips I brought this scout for local and short rides. It makes a great second bike in which that’s what it is. Looks great plus I added a fairing to it with a radio plus other thing. The only negative is that it bottoms out so I plan on changing the fork springs as a start and add heavier oil. Also put a keyless ignition.
Date published: 2020-05-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the styling Smooth, balanced, and easy to ride. Great bike that gets compliments every time you stop!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great riding bike Looked at the Scout last fall and bought it in March. It is a perfect fit for what I was looking for

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fun retro ride ! I bought this two months ago and I am extremely happy with is motorcycle. Very comfortable and easy to ride with the low seat. I added the saddlebags and performance pipes. The bags are very handy and pop right off when not needed. This is just a great fun bike that gets lots of looks and thumbs up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible machine I bought this bike in March of this year and have put 600+ miles on it so far. the bike fits me like putting on a glove. It is just one amazing machine. I could not be happier with the performance and looks of the bike. I can not count the times that i have come out of a store to find that people are checking out the bike. It is a real eye catcher. The high end torque is impressive to say the least. I like the ability to put around town under 3k rpms and still be able to hop on the highway and cruise comfortably with plenty of power to spare. It's just one incredible machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2019 Scout I bought this bike about 6 weeks ago and have in excess of 2000 miles logged already. It is a joy to ride and handled the curves at the Back of the Dragon in excellent fashion

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never thought I would own a cruiser ! I have had many different types and genres of motorcycles. Dirt, Adventure, Street, Dual purpose, Naked, Sport Touring etc. This is my first cruiser and I'm diggin' it. I can kick back and cruise or blast through the mountains. It handles pretty good in the twisties and high speed sweepers. Just went from Alices's Resturant to San Gregorio via Hiway 84 and high speed sweepers were a blast. The Scout holds a pretty good line at 80 on up in the big turns. Highly recommend aftermarket shocks for increased ground clearance and comfort. Got the Progressive 444 shocks, they give you about another inch of clearance. Now I'm not banging the foot pegs so much. I also have Moto Guzzi Griso and an African Twin. Another bike experience on my way to Valhalla.
Date published: 2020-05-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike for older riders I rode when I was younger and life got in the way and stopped riding. At 59, I wondered if I still could ride and enjoy it like I did. Bought the Scout retro on a whim and can't stop riding it. Love it! Considering moving up to a Chief or a Dark Horse!
Date published: 2020-05-08
Rated 4 out of 5 by from the seat that came on the bike is not comfortable I really enjoy the bike. I would not of done anything different except get a better seat. I love the smooth transition in gears, and the throttle response. Power is right on spot. I love my Indian and will buy another when the time comes. Next will be the touring bike.
Date published: 2020-05-07
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thrill of the ride Why do we ride? Just take this bike out for a test and you will know why. Solid and powerful. Clean and simple. This gives me the original thrill of the ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the “Old Scholl” look! I purchased my 100th Anniversary Edition Scout as an addition to my Indian family of Motorcycles ( I currently own a 2014 Chief Vintage and a 1951 Chief that is a project at this point). I love the look, performance and handling of the Scout! Great motorcycle!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bike!!! I bought this bike early March 2020. I have put over 400 miles on it even in the midst of a pandemic! I love it so much! It is the sweetest, smoothest, and sexiest ride ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful looking right beautiful and reliable It’s a beautiful looking motorcycle she rides like a dream the new love of my life
Date published: 2020-04-21
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully crafted Machine This is my Second indian scout. Eventhough the cons are still a a bug, all the pros’ take over. It is comfortable. Easy to maneuver in the city . Scouts love freeways, that is why i find it enjoyable to have long rides. The torque was something that surprised me from the beginning as it puts a smile on my face when i go to the fourth , fifth, sixth gear. Solid machine. No plastic anywhere. Sucks that there the closest dealer is 80 miles away but hopefully they expand once we,indian lovers, prove we all need a dealer in major cities or closer to them. The fact that scouts here in the US dont have the steering lock system installed, makes it unsafe in sketchy areas as people can just roll them away. So im supposed to spend $600 (parts + labor) to have it installed. So that sucks really. Overall it is my favorite baddest looking bike i’ve owned (Yamaha, suzuki, triumph, ducati) in my 18 year experience.
Date published: 2020-04-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great feel You know when it feels right . The weight is awesome the ride is great. I been riding for years and now I go out to my garage every day to look and sit on my scout, when I can't ride it. I love my new Indian scout

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to ride Really enjoy riding, very comfortable Cruiser Style. Like the horsepower to weight ratio.
Date published: 2020-04-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This is my 3rd Indian. I have a 1946 Indian Chief and a 2018 Indian Roadmaster. I bought this 100th Anniversary Scout for scooting around town. It’s comfortable, quick, nimble, and fast! As it is a “limited edition” (only 750 produced), I also think it’ll be a nice investment. I love the color as well, with hints of blue in the red.
Date published: 2020-04-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Scout I've had the Scout for 2 months and I love it. I had a Sportster and find the Scout to be so much easier to manage and maneuver. Nice features - like a low fuel light!
Date published: 2020-04-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful bike I test drove the Scout in September 2019 and loved the vintage willow and cream color. I loved how the bike handled, so agile.
Date published: 2020-04-10
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a fun bike This is one awesome machine. So much faster and smoother than my Sportster was.
Date published: 2020-04-06
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bike! I bought my scout last summer, and absolutely love it. It’s my first bike and I was very impressed with the power and styling of the bike. I had bought all the accessories. I highly recommend the led pathfinder headlight, and getting the stage 1 straights. I just ordered the chrome spoked wheels and a set of whitewalls and am excited to see them installed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Indian Scout 100th Anniversary I bought my Scout in January and couldn't wait to ride. I've taken advantage of some warm weather and rode some long days. Almost got my first 500 in. This bike is awesome and a head turner. I have gotten a lot of compliments already so can't wait to get more days/miles in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is how everyone should begin The Scout Bobber Sixty has been my very first motorcycle. Many tried convincing me to start on a 250cc or the like. Luckily for me I ignored them. The Sixty is the perfect blend of power, balance, and performance. So much so I don’t see myself trading up immediately like I most certainly would on many other “entry level” motorcycles. After the initial break in period, this bike easily gets up to 80mph on the highway, loving life between 4,000 and 6,000 rpms. Liquid cooling gives this modern v twin competitive advantage over other options, such as any of the Harley Davidson Sportster models. Like most new motorcycles, it’s needs some help to be heard. Both Indian and a variety of aftermarket companies can help give the exhaust a bit more presence. The one minor drawback that comes to mind is the lack of a gas gauge. The bike gets around 120-130 miles per gallon. I usually reset my trip odometer to know about how much longer I have in fuel, a light will come on when you have about 20 miles to go.
Date published: 2021-05-10
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfortable and smooth ride I’ve had this motorcycle for about 2 months now. I was worried about how low the handlebars were compared to the previous bike I was riding and that it could cause my back to become sore or perhaps my shoulders (I’m 5’4, so I def have to lean a bit forward). But in all honesty it’s so comfortable and with my 35-50 minute commute (depending on traffic) I have not one complaint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First motorcycle and loving it. I have always wanted an Indian Scout Bobber so I finally pulled the trigger and bought my first motorcycle ever. It feels like Christmas morning everytime I go into my garage to get the bike ready for a ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid bike - lots of fun, easy to manage I’m a new rider and wanted something that would see me through a few seasons, and I’m definitely not at al disappointed. The Bobber turns heads everywhere I go, is totally responsive, and has plenty of get-up-and-go.

Date published: 2021-05-07
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Review I love the look of this bike, It fits my style so well. My main problem with this bike is there are arent many aftermarket mods made for the bike through anyone not even Indian. If they were whiling to do some more work on modifications for their bikes I would recommend 100%. Other custom shops did not help much as no one knew the ins and out of an indian. This bike is not comfortable for rides over an hour the seat is hard and the suspension is very rough. Wouldn't recommend if you are always on the bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike. Loads of power. I love the style of this bike. It handles great. The power is perfect. I highly recommend buying one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from looks and run great I bought this last December but I started riding it only after all the snow melted in Minnesota. It runs great and looks really aggressive, I definitely got a lot people looking at me while riding it. It's a rare bike, I don't see a lot of Indians while out on the road. I had to change the seat to the comfort seat and put on vance and hines slip ons to make it louder, but it is a super fun bike to ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2021 Scout Twenty ABS I purchased a brand new 2021 Indian Scout Bobber Twenty the first week of March 2021. Thunder Black Smoke in color. I love the bike. So easy to ride and cruise around on. Love the power and the handling. Great dealer experience as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Ride Since I got into motorcycles, I loved the styling, nostalgia and the history of the brand. I wanted an Indian Motorcycle from the moment I started riding. Something also drew me to the brand. I learned over the years that my great grandfather owned one when he was younger. I recently learned after buying this bike that one of my grandfathers also owned one. After taking a 14 year break from riding I got back on this year. I wanted to go with a Challenger but couldn't jump right up to that level of bike right out of the gates. I started with the Bobber Sixty because of the price point and styling and love it. It's such a fun bike to ride. It is a quality bike and the styling is amazing. It gets looks everywhere I take it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to ride I bought my bike at the beginning of March. I’m still waiting on patty’s to get it modified to my “perfect” fit but love it nevertheless! I have about 700 miles on it now. I’m a shorter female and the scout Bobber gots me perfect. I bought a different seat to push me forward just slightly and will eventually have baby aps put on to help me sit up straight. I wish it wasn’t taking so long for the parts to come in but I am sure it will be well worth the wait. I am switching to a stage one this week, which will help with the noise. I think the stock pipes are pretty quiet but I don’t need to be obnoxiously loud either. I had been riding my husband’s 2020 sportster. Grew up around Harley’s, so I still love them but like I said the Scout Bobber is for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fantastic cruiser ! This bike is well built and powerful. You would think the 60 c.i. engine was bigger than it is given the torque and horsepower. It is a joy to ride. Well built and very stylish. The seat is uncomfortable but the rest of the bike is a solid 10.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike! Bought one with 4 miles on it. Had it about 2 months and already have 1,200 miles on it. I'm absolutely in love and being that I can put about 3 saddlebags (not from Indian) from Endscuio or something like that, a fairing that fits the bike, floorboards, 10 inch apes and practically make it a low level touring bike is absolutely amazing! Go buy one, 10,700 OTD price

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor construction I purchased new motorcycles in the past from different manufacturers and they usually pay for A 500 mile service with no cost to the customer. I’m disappointed in this product a because it was not set up correctly from the time it left the suspension on the rear end of the pipe broke very well and feel that it was poorly manufactured. Additionally the front suspension rides equally as rough. Seems to be a bottom end product. For what you’re paying for I don’t believeYou’re getting the quality behind the name.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect This is my first motorcycle. I did a lot of research before picking my Scout Bobber 60. It had everything I was looking for in a bike. Looks, power, blacked out styling, and a manageable weight. I was shocked at how well the bike handles the first time I took it out. With as much power as this bike has I can only imagine it’s big brothers sheer force. I think this is a great bike, I have to be careful as it is most definitely a bike that I wont get tired of once I’m more comfortable on two wheels. 5 stars for sure I am thrilled with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Ride!! Bought 2016 Indian Dark Horse 2 moths ago. Traded my 2015 Fatboy Lo on it. No regrets, this bike has a great ride. Never going back. Now I know why HD's are called Iron Horses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ride I've had my bike for a few months now. It was my Christmas present to myself. It also was an increase in power from my previous bike. On the test drive, I really liked how it handled. CG is nice and low so it balances very nicely in all conditions. Still waiting (over a month) on the manufacturer to get back to me in regards to damage to the finish when I purchased it. I hope it's not a nightmare to get fixed because since then, I have found another damaged location and have yet to bring it to the attention of the dealer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love at first sight Loved the look from the first time I saw, but was intimidated by its size. That changed after a test ride. It handles great and is super comfortable. There is no other bike right now that I would rather own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, head turning styling & unyielding power I bought my Dark Horse in December of 2016 because of a need for a different bike to take on a planned ride from the midwest to Skagway, AK. I walked into a dealership, having never ridden an Indian. Saw the Dark Horse and fell in love. Bought it on the spot. Wonderful bike.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great Bought my Indian Chief Dark Horse in August 2016, at first very happy with my purchase, bike does have great handling, power, and brakes, however shortly after riding found harness for additional lighting options coming loose, wire harness tape just flapping around, and exhaust pipe/engine heat on right leg is almost unbearable at times which to me is a major design flaw. also in colder months until bike is fully warmed up, it is almost impossible to shift from first gear to second gear, another major design flaw. also hate the way the seat is bolted down, i think its ridiculous to have to pull off to side covers to remove a total of 3 bolts to pull a seat off, just make that like Harley-Davidson, one bolt in back and a hook type system up front. also fuel gauge seems very inaccurate when less than half tank. overall i do like the bike but can see myself back on a Harley-Davidson sooner than later.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast Bought a Scout first....I felt too big on it. Traded for a Dark Horse. Also own a Harley. Indian is faster. BUT, accessories are way too expensive from Indian. Flat paint is not at all even.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new dark horse Love my new bike. Loved the overall cost. Only downfall was accessory prices. Bags, back seat, sissy bar, sissy bar back pad, passenger floorboards, highway bars front and rear. Already spent over 3k and haven't got to the engine yet. Cams, pipes, filter etc. it gets real expensive, real quick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be different I fell in love with the idea in 2013 I believe when. First saw the new Indian on History channel with Mike Wolfe. Love and respect was all I could imagine.. I first rode an Indian vintage back during the summer. My dad's wife had just gotten it. She insisted I ride it, and a true love was born. FF a few months and I went to the dealer (on a Sunday, closed) to look at the victory Octane bc I never figured I could get a Indian. Well when I saw my dark horse through the window I was memorized. She spoke to me and I knew. I bought her on Oct 22 and rode her home that day. I have put 2,980 miles on her already. My I was riding a sport bike for 4 years before, and was happy to get back on a cruiser. And boy did I do it big. I love the feeling of riding a bike that is not just like everyone else's. Guys on Harleys ride up, and always compliment my dark horse. That is a win in my book!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, what a great ride!! I never thought I would spend this much for a bicycle, but it is worth it for the workmanship, power, and the smooth handling!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If I'm a beauty then this is my Beast. I love how easily it handles. I had a 950 Yamaha V-star for years and this handles better and has more power without losing any of the versatility. I get a lot of complements about the design and the color. I put different pips on it though just to be heard it was quiet but so are most stock pipes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hands down the best bike I have ever been on. Having owned a few other bikes(Non-Harleys) and having driven several Harleys since getting my Indian, I will always be an Indian man. The ride is smoother, the handling is better and when you're ready to ride, so is the bike. If you want a bike to be recognized on, it's got that too. Put an Indian next to any other group of bikes, and see what one people want to look at.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Supurb Handling I can't believe how many people I get come up and ask about the bike and actually ask if they can take pictures of the bike. I have since the pics done stage 2 cams, high flow air filter and blacked out the exhaust and she's got throat now!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bang for the buck I got my dark horse after much research and wow what a ride. Had a Victory Kingpin before which was great but this bike far surpasses it. Polaris did good. Smooth powerful engine, excellent handling, comfort, dark horse has it all. Love the black with just a touch of chrome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dark side of riding I've had my Chief Dark Horse for 2 months. This is the best bike I have every owned (I have owned harley and honda.)! Maintenance won't kill your wallet, and neither will parts and accessories. The comfort and ride of the bike has taken me 2 hours before a break. The big 111 Thunderstroke has a ton of power, regardless of what gear. Averaging 37.4 mpg solo, and 35 mpg with a passenger. My only displeasure is the lack of aftermarket parts, but, in my opinion, that does not take away from the value, or the prestige of owning my Dark Horse. -Live free and ride on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Bought at the beginning of September. Most comfortable motorcycle I've ever owned. It's maneuverable enough to get around in town with ease, and large enough to go for hours on the interstate and be comfortable while on the road. Effortless power from the Thunderstroke 111, even two up. With the stock exhaust, the sound is pretty subdued until you open the throttle. Then she'll bark plenty. Many people have asked why I didn't get a Harley Davidson. I tell them just take one demo ride and find out for yourself. Sure hope they do. I do wish that the accessories weren't so pricey but given the quality, it's hard to complain too loudly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Indian Review Over all the bike is exactly what I was hoping for and I am happy with it. It is well built and handles well. The only issues I have had so far is a noise which turned out to be a loose bolt. It was missing the seat bolts and there is a slight imperfection in the paint on the tank which I attached a picture. The transmission shifts a little hard but I assume it will break in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dream come true plus some Never thought could afford an Indian which has been a dream bike since I was a kid. Loved the price which was cheaper then the Harley's I was looking at. Has a better ride nice and soft with plenty of power to get up and go. It especially is a head turner that gives off a big WOW feature when people see it. My first add on was the pathfinder lights, head lightbis good but wanted a wider spread of light. It also really enhanced the look of the bike. Would not trade this bike for any other except maybe 2017 chieftain with new touchscreen. lol! But seriously I love my bike and it already has its place in our family

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love This Bike! After several years of riding, I think I finally found the one I will keep for a while. I love this bike. The way the Dark Horse looks with the Indian style and the ride is so smooth and easy. Everywhere I go, It seems to draw attention and a lot of positive feedback. I traded my Harley Fatboy Lo for this Dark Horse and I have never looked back. The Dealership, Treasure Coast Indian ,in Hobe Sound was Great with everything and very helpful. Made me fell at home as most of their staff came from the local Harley Dealer. My wife still has her Soft tail CVO ( the Beauty) and this is the" Beast"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nimble as my scout During this ride I was overwhelmingly surprised with the right ability of the Springfield with the different rake angle it really felt like this bike was meant to be rode. Coming from the scout platform I was extremely impressed with the abilities of this bike the nimbleness and comfort make this bike a serious contender for my next big purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Power, Slow pickup Test Drove the Springfield during the factory truck challenge. Liked the bike, comfortable ride, easy to ride well. Only drawbacks for me personally are 1) the footboards are two high for good ergonomics for my body. My knee was almost above my hip. 2) Slow throttle response. Other than that, a great bike

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Who knew? Picked up my 17 Springfield in July. I live in MN and believe in buying local. I have had many bikes, including three Goldwings and several different Harleys, including a 17 Road Glide with the new engine and better suspension. It was time to buy new bike again and I wanted something different. The two valve per cylinder was actually a factor in looking at these bikes. It is a classic, simple, proven design. I like the low rpm grunt inherent of two valve engines. I also wanted to go minimalist, but still have a large touring bike. I ordered the trunk immediately. I've put 7200 miles on it, mostly with passenger, never looked back and have no regrets. It is a true touring machine, actually runs better fully loaded, (passenger, trunk, stuff tied to luggage rack). Is a very confident ride and handles the open road and speed very comfortably. I added the lower fork wind deflectors, it was the best money spent, almost completely knocks down the updraft. It is every bit as quiet as a full faired bike with fairing lowers! Clutching is smooth, sound is great, oil change easy. I added oil cooler, deductive reasoning, all the other models with fairings and trunks come equipped with one. Time will tell on the durability and weathering, but so far am very pleased with the product. I hope Polaris will refine and perfect these bikes, as anything this expensive will be scrutinized by their owners!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ticks all the boxes. I have had this beautiful machine almost 2 years and have put over 42K kms on it. I have done a couple mods to it as well. I modified the seat initially with a saddleman gel pad. This worked for a bit. I eventually replace that with an Ultimate seat. The stock seat is ok for the most part but once you start laying on serious miles, it shows its limits. I also lowered the boards to fit my 6'3" frame better. Apart from ergonomics, I replaced the pipes with some Rinehart's. It really opens up the sound while not being obnoxious. The bike itself has been fantastic. It simply absorbs miles. The handling is superb, the suspension is fantastic and the power is intoxicating. Torque...gotta love. There were some initial issues with the paint on the bags which was handled quickly and I had an issue with the fuel gauge needle fading which was also dealt with quickly. Mechanically, the bike is rock solid. No issues there at all. All in all, I love the bike and wouldn't change it for anything else on the market. It is a great motorcycle. The one thing I was not prepared for however is the sheer attention this bad boy gets...Everyone wants to chat. ;-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still in love I have now had my 2017 Springfield for 7 months. I have almost 10K miles on it and I am still thoroughly satisfied. In early June I did a 12 day, 3600 mile trip to New Hampshire and back. The bike performed flawlessly and averaged 46 MPG. The air adjust shock and comfortable saddle combined for long days with little fatigue. The honeymoon is definitely not over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Been riding all my life, always said I’d never pay big bucks for a bike, till I saw a Springfield. Wife texted me a pic of it one day, from there it was sold. I’ve now had it for a year (2017) and have about 13k miles on it. Several out of state trips. For comfort added some highway pegs and an aftermarket stereo, other than that she’s stock. No complaints just praise for this machine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Power is exceptional I bought the 1st Springfield in Md. I think. Over 3yrs I added a heaters seat, baackrest, and 2 pieces of chrome. I have 4Harleys and the indian. HAVE away a twin cam. Never told about guides and burned up @12000 miles. Love design of engine. Power plus. Put hand on head at 70. Only drawback is fatter surgery I'm much shorter. You need to be 5'10" to ride comfortably. ...Love indian. Btw..retired mechanic

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So far, not so good. Maybe I got the one in a million with a bad battery (hope it's just that) but this thing was dead a month after I got it, won't hold a charge and of course the warranty says I have to haul to the dealer, 3 hours from here to get it looked at...NOT a good start and a horrible warranty to boot. By the way it has 37 miles on it and not because I did not want to ride it more. Yes, I started it, at least every 3-4 days, ran it, and in the end, trickle charged it and after putting the seat and all the other junk back on 20 times to get to the battery, I'm ready to sell this thing and get an HD. THIS BATTERY SHOULD LAST 3-4 DAYS, PERIOD AND IT'S GARAGED, ALWAYS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Springfield and History Besides the history of Indian I Bought my Springfield (RED) in 2016 after test riding 9 different HD models/bikes. It was a Day and Night comparison with the Harley models. Specifically the handling and smoothness of the Springfield. Not much adding needed on the model other than a stage 2 ( OMG what an awesome addition) and sissy bar with back rest. It is a Head turner every where I go and my sons love it so much that are saving to buy their own Indians! Joe R. - US Coast Guard Retired

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 2017 Springfield Rocks! I bought my 2017 Springfield in April, 2017. I now have almost 15,000 miles on it. Been riding for 52 years and have owned 100's of motorcycles. I also have a BMW. I LOVE my Indian Springfield. It is by far the best cruiser I have ever owned and is so comfortable to ride on long multi-day rides. It handles, brakes, accelerates better than any other cruiser bikes I have ever had. Thanks Indian (Polaris) for rebooting an American icon the right way!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Handling Heavyweight I've ridden my Springfield from September through November (thanks to the heated grips) and found it lived up to its reputation as a great handling, comfortable bagger. What I didn't expect was the attention it got from passers-by due to the beautiful fit and finish. Despite the bike's weight, it is easy enough to manoeuver. The one negative is accessing the rear tire to check the air pressure due to the closed fender and exhausts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Retirement Gift to myself! After telling myself I would get a Harley when I retire, after seeing my buddies Heritage Softail 30 years ago or so, I started looking hard a year ago or so in anticipation of me retiring at the end of 2017. Road some, looked at some. Kept thinking, everyone has one of these. Buddy of mine told me how much he loves his Chief. So I looked at Indian. Wow! They were gorgeous. Ended up with a Springfield. Love it! The more I ride It the more I love It. Get a lot of double takes on it from people, like “ hey, wait, that’s not a Harley!”. Ya I know! What a retirement gift! Thirty years in the making.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 204-mile lunch run today, Jan. 18, 2018 When people ask me how I like my Indian I respond this way: "I love it, it's comfortable, it's simple and it's FUN!" The odometer turned over 4,000 miles today as I rode out of Borrego Springs, CA, with some fast-moving Harley riders. We'd just had lunch there, having ridden from Palm Desert earlier in the day. These other riders get aggressive with their throttles (some with 110 ci motors) and a big smile comes across my face as I twist my Indian throttle and this beefy 111 ci comes alive with torque and power--so much so that I'm having to keep a close eye on the Harley directly in front of me. No sense running him over! I ride about 20,000 miles per year, and I have four touring bikes. Otherwise I would have already racked up many more miles on this white Springfield last year. Today's lunch run which incorporated a multitude of twisties and elevation changes proved to me that my Indian is not only a touring bike but a sport bike that agressively takes on tight curves in a nimble fashion. I'm very favorably impressed. Oh, on almost every ride, while occasionally stopped, some stranger walks up to me and compliments my Indian. It's an all-around FUN machine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wanted the Springfield all along... I knew I wanted a Springfield from the day I first read about it. An Indian with removable windshield and hard saddle bags, perfectly capable of long distance touring that can be quickly stripped down to cruise with that classic Indian look and feel. I've had my Blue Sapphire over Star Silver (gorgeous!) Springfield for about six months now and could not be happier. Much smoother ride than what I was used to. Handles like a dream with plenty of power. A real attention getter!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mr. This bike handled well. Grips felt a little cheap, and the power was so-so mid way through the gears. Seat was tall for me, but is adjustable to my knowledge. I liked the controls once I got used to them. Would like to see a heel shift.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The bike was very nice. The test ride leader was going over 80 mph in a 45 mph zone. Way too fast.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I rode the 116 big bore kit on the chieftain at Daytona. This ride was really comfortable. I'm used to having a little more power on the throttle but that's because I own an m-109R. The power is not really noticeable but that doesn't mean it's not a good bike. This bike is really comfortable and the amenities and features are too many to list. It was a great experience

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth and refined This was the first Indian model I had the opportunity to ride during the demo ride and I have to say it was an awesome choice. Definitely competition to the HD Street Glide.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So I bought my self Vranac - Black Stud I changed bike, from mid size chopper Yamaha Stryker to Chieftain 2018. It's great cruiser, handles good, sound system is great even on highway with 70 miles per hour, a lot of gadgets , gps, ride command, big engine. I kinda like that is made in US so you can support local economy, only if Polaris is little bit lower on prices for bikes and parts. Bike is ultimate cruising experience. You will be good for ages with Chieftain. And name Indian, so American ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Steel Grey for Christmas Bought myself a Christmas Gift. This past December I bought my 3rd Indian. I went from a Scout to a Chief DarkHorse to my new 2018 CHIEFTAIN Steel Grey. This is by far my favorite motorcycle that I have owned. Smooth ride,Smooth shifting, the ride command is amazing. Turning ratio is far better than the DH and a throttle response is on the spot. Highly recommend to test ride a Chieftain , you will not be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything you need and easy to ride! I got a chance to ride this when the demo truck came to the dealership near me. I rode everything that day but this really stood out. Smooth power delivery, tons of features and ride modes that actually make a difference. A beautiful bike that I'd be happy to own and ride anywhere. This is a bike I could live with and ride for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Considering owning Chieftain 2018 I rented Indian Chieftain 2016 or 17 I'm not sure which one they gave me. My wife and me went on two day trip through Rockys in Colorado. I ride Yamaha stryker which is just a touch longer then Indian since its midsize chopper, so I didn't had problem adjusting to Indian. Handling was good, very comfy, a lot of power and space. Sound system worked good. I ride only cruisers so didn't had any complains for two days ride. I'm considering buying Chieftain 2018 since I like fairing and fender, I'm not lover of 2019. I'll test 2018 soon and see if I'm going to make a deal with a dealership for trading.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Breed than before The ride was nice. I test rode an Indian back when the company was in Gilroy. Back then, the bike felt like a tractor. Now it is much nicer. However, the radio antena was horrible and I could not keep a radio station for longer than a couple of blocks. It needs work. The floorboards are nice, but it would be better with a heel-toe control on the shifter pedal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It was good Not an option here but I test rode the 2019 model year. Suspension and handling was great. Felt light and nimble. Seat height was perfect for me at 5’8” tall. Could go with taller bars but that’s a personal preference. Didn’t spend enough time on the bike but controls need some getting used to (for me). Overall great experience with the test ride and looking forward to riding more Indian Mororcycles in the future. Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Nice 2019 Indian demo ride in Cavecreek AZ; nicely laid out but once on the bike...too small. Fairing felt close, seat was small and uncomfortable, highway bars forced my feet back and floorboards were too narrow to fit my foot. Once on the ride the overall response and agility was really nice. Everything I forgot about during my initial assessment, except the seat. The seat killed the ride for me and my lady. We are used to riding hundreds of miles in a day, we were both unhappy after the 10 mile loop.
Date published: 2018-10-21
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent handling and smooth ride Rode it mainly to see the difference between it and my Vintage. First ever fairing bike I ever rode as only being 5'7" I had always been intimidated by the extra mass. I was surprised at how well it suited me. I was so impressed that the next day I traded my 14 Vintage that I loved for a new Chieftan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Bike I rode the Chieftain with the Stage 3 kit. Loads of power. For the most part, comfortable. Felt a little cramped. Need to lower the floorboards & move them forward. Definitely will be picking one up when my XC is done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Smooth!! I rode this bike at a demo during the Tennessee Motorcycle and Music Revival today. I had never ridden an Indian Motorcycle before, but this one made me want to keep riding them all day! The features on the infotainment system are so far advanced that nothing else compares. I will be riding an Indian again soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First ride on a big bagger I bought a Scout Bobber this Spring and I love it. I put a 2 up seat on it and the wife and I have cruised the NH seacoast and had a blast. However, with 2" of rear suspension and no storage, it is a short ride bike with 2 people. I wanted to try a big bagger, having never ridden an 800# bike. Turns out the weight is not noticeable. The ergonomics are different than the Bobber so it took a few minutes to get comfortable. Once settled in I loved it. Low end torque, soft seat and suspension, warm behind the fairing, GPS, etc, etc. I guess I need 2 Indians!
Date published: 2018-10-05
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The new seat placement. Great Im looking to get the new chieftain. Compared to the 2018 with the better seat placement makes way more better ride. I also like the better shaped saddle bags of the 2019. However I do like the fairing of the 2018 with the blinkers intagreated in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great suspension I rode the Chieftain and compared to my HD Road glide Custom the ride was plush. Enjoyed the solid feel of the bike also. I am used to my modified Harley so I also rode a 116 model and found it to be much better for me. Thanks for the ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive ride! Had some rough weather roll in while we were on the ride; Hail, heavy rain! Still I did not want the ride to end! Loved riding that bike! I have test rode the HD Street Glide and Road Glide...I am digging the Chieften Dark Horse above all!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, better than Harley, but not my Victory I rode this bike today at a Demo site. Found the standard grips to be uncomfortable, the lack of a heel toe shifter to be annoying, and the engine vibration to unacceptable. Overall, for a tall man (6'3" 255) it fits and that is important. Much better than any of 3 Harleys I also demoed today. Yet I will keep my 2014 Victory Cross Country. Don't know why Indian who I believe has a superior product to Harley Davidson seems to be trying to make bikes more and more like them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a great bike!!! Was at the demo ride today. I was not really considering an Indian bike. Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2019 dark horse I purchased a 2019 dark horse and i love the bike. The power is excellent ,the suspension is awesome! and I love the auto windshield, auto saddle bag locks and the tire pressure monitoring. theirs a little more room on the back for my wife than the Harley street glide we looked at and all of our friends are on Harley's for now.I believe the Indian motorcycle company is the up and coming American made motorcycle company!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Demo Success at Four Corners Rally Ergonomically it was a great fit for my 5’9” frame, lots of touchdown on the pavement. Instructed about the 3 modes - Tour, Standard and Sport - I chose the Sport mode which had tight throttle response ( a little too much for my 1st Demo ride). We rode about 10 miles out of Sky Ute Casino and the Demo guide stopped and asked what I thought. I explained the “jumpiness” in the throttle response and he suggested I switch to Standard mode, and that’s all it took. We glided through the turns and hills like a hot knife through butter. So smooth, very comfortable in turns with downshifting. I picked up speed quickly and placed my hand in front of my face to check windshield placement, it was perfect. Wind hit top of my helmet with no buffeting. Sadly, the second half of the ride brought us back to the casino when I was really starting to have fun with this bike. Thanks for the demo trial. Highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bike! Demoed this bike at 4 corners rally in Ignacio CO. Plenty of power, loved the feel, handled like it was on rails, really like the touch screen and the power windshield. But it was the performance that really makes this bike so good. I got off this bike, went to the Harley demo fleet and rode a Roadglide special for comparison, there is none, this is a superior motorcycle! Limited dealer network and aftermarket support are drawbacks, nearest dealer is 250 miles from my house. Not to mention that it is overpriced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I loved my 2018 I bought my Darkhorse in September of 2017 off of the show room floor at All Out Cycles and have put over 31,000 miles on it in under 2 years. I’ve had several electrical problems but it’s a machine and machines have problems. She has been a good bike and has been enjoyable to ride. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good bike, but needs more room I test rode a 2019 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse in Sturgis. I had high hopes as I come from a Victory Cross Country, so that is where my comparison comes from: --Engine: I have "stage 1" on my Victory, and when compared to a stock ThunderStroke 111 my butt dyno couldn't tell a difference. I was hoping for a bit more, sadly. --Fit & Finish: The Indian is great here. Seems like a high quality, well engineered motorcycle (it has Victory DNA, after all). Definitely a quality machine. --Ergonomics: This is where Indian falls flat. I wish they would quit trying to copy Harley Davidson and make a bike that someone 6' 1" tall can easily stretch out on. When riding I had to keep my feet hanging halfway off the front of the floorboards. I do not have to do that on a Victory in order to let my legs stretch a little. Also, my passenger was much closer to me, hugging me almost, than on my Victory. I very much tried to get over the ergonomics differences. In fact I came back the next day and test rode one again with a different mind set. Unfortunately I am completely spoiled by Victory. I was very much willing to spend a lot of money to buy the Indian in Sturgis, unfortunately the ergonomics factor completely turned the Indian bikes into a non-factor for me. That's really too bad. I would only recommend Indian motorcycles to someone shorter than 6-feet tall, or someone that doesn't mind not being able to stretch out a bit while riding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be happier! I live overseas and have been renting Street Glides about 8 days a year for the past five years. I rented the Chieftain two weeks ago and then bought my own three days later. This bike is amazing! Handles like a smaller, more nimble bike. The torque is fantastic. My only grips are the brake peg and kickstand. I upgraded both. This is Indian all the way. For anyone thinking this is a Street Glide "knock off", go ride one. The sound, the feel, the ride. Pure pleasure. And oh yeah...finding neutral is a total breeze! This is an incredible piece of design and workmanship.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ride in my last 3 years I have road and tested a few bikes including Harley Davidson, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Honda. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Impressed I was extremely surprised and impressed not only on the ride but the easy handling of this bike. I have ridden bikes of this nature before and they were no where near as nimble as this bike nor were they this smooth. If anyone is looking at a bike of this style I would highly recommend giving this one a try.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Motorcycle Greatly enjoyed the opportunity to ride two versions of the Limited. one had a stage 2 and one had a stage 3. Both performed extremely well. The stereo is impressive. I would expect a limited to have heated grips and suggest the dealer position a salesman to interact with riders after the ride. The demo team reps are very helpful, courteous and professional. Thank you

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Indian Chieftain white 116 motor The motor is wonderful. I enjoyed the cruise, the mini apes were not comfortable for me, the right foot brake seemed too far forward for me, I could not check out other features as ride prep short and demo ride itself was short. Brakes good, acceleration wonderful, adjustable windshield too short. The bike sounded amazing, really good. overall i liked the bike, a bit heavy and much different feel from my current bike. I may test ride another model tomorrow. Thanks for providing the demo rides...very helpful in my consideration of my next ride. Would like to know of promotional discounts available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME FOR 2019! I bought this Chieftain Limited on 09/26/18 and I couldn't be happier! Indian is definitely setting the standard for the modern age biker. "More bang for your buck", is an understatement! Its the many different features, and accessories that make a world of difference. This motorcycle has no shortage of them. Great bike for the many miles , and many smiles! Be prepared to get plenty of compliments! My only "con" is that I don't like the new "gunfighter" seat. I replaced it with the "genuine leather heated touring" seat. Other than that, 2 thumbs up!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap bike Poor rider position, break pedal should be a pedal rather then a peg. Position of controls too far forward on footboard. Jerky throttle response. Hand controls awkward position, seat too narrow. Overall the feel of the bike was cheap, does not have refined feel like Harley. Stereo weak, not enough power, hard to figure out display

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional comfort and ride I enjoyed the opportunity to ride the Chieftain Limited. The ride and comfort surpassed my expectations. I recently test drove the Harley Davidson Road Glide and I must say the Chieftain was far better in every aspect. The engineers at Indian really put a lot of effort into the design and operational facets of the vehicle. I'm not quite ready to purchase a new motorcycle, but when I am, i will most definitely purchase an Indian. Thank you again for the opportunity to ride a piece of art.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It. So many good things to say. First off, love the engine and power train. Pulls from down low all the way to the top. And pulls hard. Suspension and chassis are top notch. This bike loves to lay into turns but is very stable in a straight line. Ergonomics are well thought out. All the controls and information is easy to use and see. Great platform, great bike. Keep it coming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort, tech, great classic looks, and great ride After about 1000 miles so far, I must say I love this bike! I use it to commute to work sometimes, just take a ride up the mountain, or whenever I feel like getting out on the road and putting in some saddle time.

2020 Indian Challenger Limited Thunder Black Pearl is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 162.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the bike I love the bike. The power and handling make this bike the best bagger in the class. You do not need to spend a bunch of money on it to make it an awesome performer. I have a few minor electrical glitches that need taken care of, but overall the bike is fantastic. My list of issues are.. Brake lights come on after hitting a bump ( my friends challenger does this also). Chassis light comes on intermittently but does not set codes.(friends does this also) Intermittently it will not power up from the start button and I will have to use the fairing switch. Fuel gauge is slow to read full( also intermittently). Even with these issues I have no regrets buying this bike.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bike, needs a few updates I love this bike. I have owned several motorcycles and this is one I just cannot get off of. Indian knocked it out of the park with this one . All that said I am bummed that within the first 500 miles I have had 3 check engine lights leaving me on the side of the road and then limping home. My dealership had determined the issue to be the throttle body so hopefully this fixes the issue. The other issue is the throttle lag, the software needs an update, there is a disconnect from the time you turn the throttle and when the bike reacts. Overall I think this bike is amazing and I am confident Indian will fix these issues. I honestly believe the Challenger has reset the bar as to what an American bagger should be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great step forward Coming off a Victory Vision for the last 5 years. Also have had multiple Gold Wings plus lots of bikes outside touring category. Indian has a very strong motor. Pulls hard from bottom and doesn't die out at 4.5 thousand RPM's like most large v-twins. I ride 2 up and this Challenger is a bit more compact then the Vision and the seat isn't as comfortable. Both bikes have 6 gallon tanks but Vision got an extra 50 miles out of the tank. Sacrifices we make for the power I suppose. Outside of those areas the Challenger is a better bike everywhere else and a blast to ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Bike! I've had my Roadmaster for 7 weeks now - I'm in LOVE! Riding this bike is almost like riding down the street on your sofa - it's THAT smooth. A guy from work has a Harley, and we went to a biker bar. On the way home, at EVERY stoplight we hit, he's standing up; stretching; then looking back at me - his Harley vibrates SO MUCH that he was just trying to get feeling back - I told him I was PERFECTLY fine. I think I finally have him talked into at least going to the Indian dealer, and taking some test rides - these bikes sell themselves!

But I Think Its to New & Needs Broken in. Plus The Boss aka Wife Loves it. I Think I Might Have a Couple of Friends that are thinking about trading theirs in for a Indian, Sad thing about this Bike, Which has nothing to do with it, My Riding seasons might be over for this year, Have to go get my Knee hacked on next week, But I've Been know to ride with a Cast on. Rated 4 out of 5 by from I enjoy the touring features. This is my third Indian. The only negative for this bike is opting for the stage 2 upgrade. I was happier with the rideability of the stage 1 I had on my previous bikes. I may have the stage 2 cams changed out for the stock cams.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME MACHINE I can't believe that I have FINALLY found my DREAM BIKE! It is everything that I've been looking for in a true "Big Boy" Road Machine. Smooth, quick, and powerful. The balance is incredible! For the first time in a long time, I can just add pressure on my right or left foot, and the bike leans! Not since my dirt bike days in the 70's, have I been on a bike that is SO responsive. She handles more like a crotch rocket or a trials bike, rather than a 900 lb road machine. Fit and finish is wonderful, the Navionics are first rate, the power plant is always ready to give you more, and whip you backwards in the saddle. The styling is agelessly classy. My only regret- I wish I did this sooner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy for the upgrade My lovely wife convinced me to “upgrade” to the 2019 Roadmaster in order to get the 7” RideCommand, the three ride modes, the rear cylinder shut-off and this beautiful Icon paint job. The fit and finish is great just like it was on my 2016 Roadmaster but the new vents in the new lowers seem to work better to help manage the heat. The 1811cc Thunderstroke engine is super solid and pulls like a train! The new 2020 Roadmaster has the 116 C.I. engine stock but from my point of view, the 111 C.I. engine is all I need! If you ridden the Harley offerings in the Touring Category, you are going to be pleasantly surprised by what the Indian Roadmaster has to offer in is stock configuration that you pay extra for on a Harley. Come check one out today!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome bike with a few glitches I absolutely love the bike with 2 exceptions. First, Quality Control. A couple of days after getting the bike home, I noticed a paint flaw on the trunk lip where paint never adhered. It was about 3mm circle, but annoying that the manufacturer, nor the dealer captured it. Second is the face that the Ride Command system frequently seems to freeze or reset. This is extremely frustrating when the nav goes down while in the city. That being said, the dealer I purchased from is absolutely terrible and I will never go back there for parts or service. Fortunately I have 2 others to choose from nearby.
