To order paint that matches your Indian Motorcycle, you must bring the paint code to your Indian Motorcycle Dealer. Paint must be ordered at a dealer; it isn't available for purchase online.
To find the paint code, go to the online parts catalog.
For example, let’s find paint that matches the green on the front fender of this 2018 Chief Vintage.
Enter your vehicle information in the fitment toolbar located in the top-left corner of the screen. If you are logged in to your Indian Motorcycle account, you can select a vehicle from your Garage or enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Select GO when complete.
Select SHOP BY SCHEMATIC.
Under BODY, select FENDER FRONT.
After selecting the assembly, you’ll see a diagram — which can be zoomed in or out — with part numbers that correspond to the listings below.
Scroll down to the parts listings. No. 1 is the fender. Note that there are multiple listings for No. 1 because not all Chief Vintage motorcycles have the same color scheme. We’re looking for a green and cream fender, so we know we want part number 1019176-1410. “1410” is the paint code. Take that paint code to your local Indian Motorcycle Dealer. Your dealer can tell you if 1410 is the paint code for Willow Green and Ivory Cream and help you order the proper paint.
Paint codes will be three or four digits. If you’re looking for only one of the two colors in a two-tone paint scheme, your dealer can find the correct paint when provided with the four-digit code and your VIN.
You will have the option of choosing aerosol cans, quart paint or a touch-up bottle. Your dealer can help you choose the right option for the type of painting you’re planning on doing.
