Indian Motorcycle owners can add an accessory garage door opener (part number 2882132) to their motorcycle that allows them to open their garage by pushing a button.
The opener, made by HomeLink®, fits in a small knockout in the inner fairing and connects to the wiring harness through a plug located behind the knockout. Indian Motorcycle recommends having an Indian Motorcycle Dealer install it. To find a dealer near you, use the Dealer Locator.
Model year 2017 and newer Indian Motorcycle models are prewired for the module, and it can be programmed for most garage doors. On those motorcycles, the garage door is controlled using the buttons on the opener (pictured above). On model year 2020 and newer displays powered by RIDE COMMAND, the HomeLink® garage door opener can be controlled from the HomeLink® buttons on the display. It must be purchased, installed and configured separately from RIDE COMMAND. Check to make sure the opener fits your vehicle using the fitment tool.
More information on the HomeLink® garage door opener, including how to program it, is included in the installation instructions. View the instructions for this kit by searching the Polaris Accessory Installation Instruction Site.
